Meier looked real good. A dude named Cone (jenks old number) caught everything thrown his way. Not sure who he is, but he looked as good as anyone else out there. atljbo
Jay AdamsCoach Smith: 7th-rounders Cliff Matthews and Andrew Jackson have been pleasant surprise. Might be most physically gifted of draft class. That cant be good for Chauncey Davis

turnerdburner
#Falcons just finished practice. The defense had a strong day.Brent Grimes just climbed his invisible ladder to break up a pass to Roddy White.William Moore with a breakup of a pass to Tony Gonzalez. As VanGorder just said, "It's a BD-fest"Mike Peterson gives Jacquizz Rodgers a friendly pop after a screen. Turner yells to Pete, "Quit picking on little kids!"Chauncey Davis just blew up a reverse in the backfield and Chris Owens followed that up with an INT. Defense is all over it today ,these were sum of the tweets I got today about this morning practice
AtlantaFalconPokerPro
His name is kevin cone they jus signedYeah, the dude looked good out there. Julio looks like he's like a vet out there. HD was getting more coaching from Ryan/coaches than Julio was. I got about 15 minutes worth of video (passing - 30 second clips) that I'll upload later. Dem Birds
Jay AdamsThat cant be good for Chauncey DavisTo say either of those guys might be the most physically gifted out of a draft class that includes Julio Jones is really really really saying something. Sheldon Cooper
Nice to see that our trick play still doesnt workI wonder if it is the timing that causes us to fail and others to succeed. We seem to try that when nothing else is working. The saints seem to burn us with it when we least expect it. They set it up, we fall back on it to try to get something going. Sheldon Cooper
To say either of those guys might be the most physically gifted out of a draft class that includes Julio Jones is really really really saying something.I thought the same thing. At 6-5, 299, I was surprised to hear that Jackson is pushing DL around. Nice to hear though. If Cliff Matthews is showing athleticism that is awesome news. Many publications describe him as stiff, but a hard worker. Some suggested he was too rigid to run the arc and bend, but that he would make a team on sheer determination. I just hope we got a better player than the panthers did last year in Greg Hardy, a sixth round steal they are high on.
Sheldon Cooper
On a side note jon parker and froman look terribleGood thing we have Redman just in case. Sounds like his job is safe for 2011. What chance do you think Froman has at beating out JPW?

By the time the ball is handed off to HD or whoever there are already 5 defenders in the backfield.
The Falcon Jedi Knight
Its the same with our blitzes. By the time our blitz guys get to the backfield the ball is already in the air.

jdawg4876
on a side note I think harry and matt still dont have good chemistry. I saw too many passes not caught between them.
