Lowndesfalc
Linkage Does anyone else find it ironic that Trent Dilfer had a huge hand in developing the new Quarterback rating system and the Matt Ryan winds up being 3rd on the list. This after dissing Matt in every possible way. I'll bet it still doesn't shut him up but I would love to see someone call him on it.

The Falcon Jedi Knight
Im sure Dilfer had a palpitation when he ran all the QBs thru his formula and saw Ryan's name appear in the top group. I call that Karma
dmite
I don't think he has a problem with Matt Ryan, or I don't recall that. He was always just dogging on the Falcons in general.

illest_will
yeah, to his credit, he never said Matt Ryan was a bad QB(or at least, I don't remember ya complaining about him saying that) he always complained about our defense(with good reason), our offense(which needed improvements) and thought we were the weakest team in the playoffs(and we played the eventual SB team, the weakest, to be fair)

Sheldon Cooper
I will wait for the Irony Expert Panel to decide whether this is a correct use of the word Irony before I commentWell lets see...Its like lemonade on a summer day, its like good advise, that you just cant take, its like a fruit fly in you chardonnay, its like a sausage fest when your not even gay, its like a traffic jam when your already late, its legalizing pot on your cigarette break, its like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife, its like meeting the man of your dreams, and then meeting his beautiful wife. judging by this, yes. On a side note, its a little disturbing, dont you think, that she needs a knife in the very same sentence that she meets the man of her dreams that turns out to be married. Lucky for them all she found was a bunch of spoons.

Finally
Well lets see...Its like lemonade on a summer day, its like good advise, that you just cant take, its like a fruit fly in you chardonnay, its like a sausage fest when your not even gay, its like a traffic jam when your already late, its legalizing pot on your cigarette break, its like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife, its like meeting the man of your dreams, and then meeting his beautiful wife. Most of that is bad luck or coincidence not irony. In this particular definition irony is like workers in a water bottling factory complaining about being thirsty. There has to be something to make the outcome divergent from the expected result. Irony would be sending back your wine because it has a fruit fly in it and being brought a glass that has a roach in it. You expect the situation to be resolved instead it is made worse. Irony would be vegetarians hosting a sausage fest.Dilfer assisting to develop a formula that makes a qb he doesn't respect look good is ironic though. Twoism
I thought you were going to say Matt Ryan was his great-grandfather's favourite great-grandson - not Dilfer.
