Radiohead
I look around and see that this position is completely lacking behind Moore and DeCoud.I do not want Schillenger (sp?) going in if someone goes down with any injury.-- I know the coaches like him, but we have to look for other options. Are there any free agents out there? FlyHighFalcons
If the coaches really like Schill, then I'm confident he can get the job done if one goes down. I think we need to get one more versatile guy that would be able to fill in if we really started seeing injuries.
Falconcheff
I agree. I've always liked Abram Elam from Cleveland; a bright star on a crummy team.I like DeCoud and I REALLY like WillyMo. Elam would be a good backup to both positions. We have Shann and we have Rafael Bush. I'm not comfortable with that depth.
freebird310
Yea, I figured we would pick up a mid tier FA here, but dont look like it ......
maxatlanta
CB depth is worse. Forget about whether Franks or Owens wins the nickel spot. They'll both be on the field in passing situations if Dunta or Grimes gets banged up. In today's NFL you need 4 competent corners. They don't all have to be starting quality, but they need to be capable of not sucking.
maxatlanta
If GB goes to 5 wide, who will we have covering their WR? No matter what you come up with, there will be multiple mismatches.

blackredfellow
Im a little concerned about depth in a lot of areas actually. We have been fairly lucky in the Ryan era as far as injuries go. If we lose one WR, namely Roddy or Julio, we are instantly thin. Same with RB, OL, LB, CB, and S.I love the fact that we have a lot of youth, but there is a lot of inexperience for depth as well if we lose a key player. Borat
Sharper, or as SI suggested, Bernard PollardBut I agree, CB depth is a much, much greater need.
delaigle
Right now there is about a pool of 20 CBs or Safeties to choose from.At the end of pre season that pool should grow to about 60 to choose from both at CB and at safety.
NewEra
We should have quietly stacked up in depth at CB and Safeties like the Saints did =/
