Mr. Right
If only we kept him at QB, this probably wouldn't happened. And our offense probably wouldn't have missed a beat either since we protect our QBs with the run game anyways.

The Falcon Jedi Knight
Harrington is a great guy. He's had a horrible QB career, which I blame his experience playing for Detroit for mostly (like David Carr who entered the NFL playing behind a turnstyle O-Line), but he never complained and handled that Petrino debacle with class. I wish him the best.

I really pulled for him, really wanted to see him turn his career around (well, until he became an Ain't). I was pissed when we put in Byron "I'm going to pretend I'm a T-shirt Cannon" Leftwich in that same game.

Dem Birds
I love Joey Harrington, I hope he's alright. I actually felt really good for him in the game where Leftwich was so bad that the fans chanted "Joey!", he deserves some good stuff to happen to him.But he could be worse off, he could still be wearing a Saint's uniform. The Falcon Jedi Knight
Ill never forget that press conference when Petrino announced Leftwich his starter without telling Joey. I felt bad for Joey, he was visibly upset and embarassed having to hear that from reporters instead from his HC
Dem Birds
I don't even know how to respond to this. You're a troll? Too generic. You're stupid? Too plain. F*ck off? Too straightforward. I'll let someone better at this handle this one, because this one is pretty difficult to dignify with a response. No, no, I think you nailed it. Actually, the 1st thing I though of when I read this was I wonder if he had a flashback to his time QB'ing in Detroit at the moment of impact. Hope he fully recovers. Hoppy™
He seems like a really nice guy and I wish him the best.... And I don't mean to sound insensitive in a delicate thread, but what is it with Portland and bicycles? I thought the only way to get hit in Portland is by another bicycle.... Supes™
He was a deer in the headlights here in Atlanta and was commonly referred to as "Check-down Joey". But as bad as he was in our '07 season, he was still a good kid that did his best and let's not forget that the only reason he was here to begin with is because Mr. Right's hero, Michael Vick, was suspended by Roger Goodell and for every appropriate reason.Leave it to Mr. Right to take Joey's misfortune and turn it into a shot leveled at the Falcons just because his hero did what he did and ain't a Falcon anymore. He's gonna stay pizzed at the Falcons forever for things that were beyond their control, instead of placing his anger where it belongs @ MV7.Mr. Right, I have defended you against folks that wanna see you banned because I believe you have every right to your twisted opinions, but you truly, and I mean really,....disgust me. duncja
3 years out of the league and he's still getting run over.. Seriously though, I hate to hear this. I completely agree with Nono, there should be many more bike lanes in the US. In NC, I can be going 5 under the speed limit on one of these back roads and come around a bend only to have to stomp on the brakes so I don't hit someone. Bikers have every right to ride, but our road system isn't designed to accommodate them.yeah, hope he recovers fully. aerosmith67
Just a quick story about Joey Harrington that shows what kind of person he is at heart. Opening TC practice of the 2007, a plane is flying overhead with banners disparaging the Falcons over what Mike Vick did, PETA is protesting at the gates and there's a relatively small crowd of fans there to support their team. Out walks Coach Arrogant, he leads the team through a practice that is nothing like Falcons training camps before or after his reign. The fun of watching the Falcons practice has been totally taken away. Practice comes to a end and as their accustomed to fans line the fence to meet and greet the players. In steps Coach Arrogant yelling at the players and telling them to get inside. The entire team and coaching staff run for the locker-room. A few minutes later out walks Joey Harrington, JA98, Da Future and a few other players, they've decided to ignore their Coach and wanted to say "Thank You" to the fans who despite the ugly scene stuck it out support the team. Joey spent a good 15-20 minutes signing things and talking with the fans when he was told not to and realized what was right and what was wrong with the situation. That is class folks! This also brings up another nice memory, who else went to the Falcons/Seahawks game in 2007? There weren't many of us there but it was the spark of light that there was hope for the next year, the players never quit despite their record and put a show on for the diehards that were there to the end.
