Finally
The only thing worse than a power ranking is a power ranking on bleacher reports.
FalconsSavant
Beats the **** out of this 1.http://walterfootball.com/nflpowerrankings.phpI don't put credence on them. It's just for fun. Gives an idea of what people outside of Atlanta thinks about the Falcons. Edited August 1, 2011 by FalconsSavant
McSpanker
They also have both the seahawks and the 49ers finishing 3rd in the division. I wanna see how that works out for them
MattyIceIsSoNice
Lil surprised but I like it.http://bleacherreport.com/articles/786807-2011-nfl-power-rankings-post-nnamdi-asomugha-to-eagles-editionWhat I don't like is there are 3 teams from the top 10 in the NFC South. I do like we are rated higher than the other 2 though.

Gives an idea of what people outside of Atlanta thinks about the Falcons. Here is the same guy - same site - same ranking - worst to first - Final Power Ranking Preseason 2010:15. Atlanta Falcons (9-7) - Previously: 12. The Falcons are everyone's darling sleeper team. They were mine as well, but something just looks off with Matt Ryan and Roddy White. Ryan suddenly can't hit Tony Gonzalez for routine intermediate passes, and White can't seem to hold on to the ball this preseason. Maybe, just maybe they're not taking preseason seriously, but I'm losing confidence in them. 2010 NFL Projected WIN Total: 8-

The RiseUp Avenger
I had no idea we played 18 games last season.I appreciate the love, but the only thing that matters is how we play on the field, not in some writer's mind
Falcons Win
Regardless of what you think, it's all about opinions from ESPN all the way down to something like BR. But it's all about fun, and entertainment, and honestly I feel like these rankings aren't too dissimilar to my own other than I have the Eagles below the Falcons because the Eagles, while they have some amazing pieces, lost a few key players that are going to hurt a lot, and while the lights and glitz are there, we see that year in and year out in Washington. Philly is going to be reeling once they lose a couple games, too many egos, too many big fingers pointing around.Chemistry is something that is vastly underrated, and that's something the Falcons have in abundance. Not only that, but now the Falcons are finally one of the most talented offenses in the NFL. The last couple of seasons Ryan has led this team to appear more talented than they are, but now, we have the talent to go with it. Don't get me wrong, Turner is talented, and he helped Ryan in his rookie year, but now, it's Ryan's show, and he's been carrying Turner. Teams can't drop 8 in the box anymore, before that used to help them out by stopping Turner more easily, as well as containing TG, now, they put 8 or 9 in the box, and you're talking about 6 points to Jones and White on the outside, with Douglas back to 100%. This team is flat out frightening with potential. The Eagles have already stirred up discontent in their most prolific offensive star, now they're shopping their #1 corner from a year ago. So if they can't move him, talk about a star being pissed off. Samuel is going to just add to the rift that Desean already put into the locker room with his holdout. Let's see Vick and Reid manage that in week 2 when they have to come to Atlanta and pray that their corners can hold up on islands without surrendering easy completions to Tony, and big yards to Turner.
