Chicago Road Trip

I'm going to be in Chicago for the first game of the season and wanted to see if there were any other falcons fans that would like to get ticket together so we can sit with some Falcons fans at the game and not be surrounded by Bear fans. Let me know what you think.

It's going to be hard to get a lot of tickets together for this game. I'm going and I bought 4 tickets when they went on sale through ticketmaster, but I had to get 2 in the 200 level and 2 in the 300 level. Hopefully we can get a lot of Falcons fans together to tailgate.

I have never been to Chicago for a game before. Where do yal tailgate before the game do yal have a spot? Also if you have been before is it "safe" to wear my Falcons gear to the game?

I have found some groups of tickets seated together on ebay and some other ticket sites so if anyone is interested let me know

I've been to Chicago before, but never to a Bears game. I'm wearing my Falcons gear so I hope it's safe. Everyone told me not to wear it to the New England game 2 years ago, but I didn't have any problems. It will take a coordinated effort on the message board to get a tailgate. I'll do some research and start a thread. I might have 2 extra tickets. I bought 4 for the game, but I'm still waiting to hear if 2 people are going.

If you were going to sell two tickets, what would be your price for them?

I have 4 tickets and I still need to find out if my friend is going that needs 2. I need to see how much I paid for them, but I think I'm close to the price paid when I bought them on ticketmaster.

Section 313, Row 2, seats 7-8 - $285 each

After arriving my crew will want to drink and watch UGA-SC.

chicagodawgs.com tells me that the place to watch is Joe's Bar - 940 West Weed St and that most of their group are also Falcon fans who are going the game too. It's close to downtown and easy ride on L's red line (north)

Haven't heard of it. Tailgating will be tricky. The stadium is right now in downtown. I parked across from the Bean, in an underground lot, for $30 bucks about a month ago. There was no special event. That is everyday parking cost. I have heard it will be an easy $100 to park close to the stadium.

I'm still looking for tickets, but considering saving $500 and going to Detroit instead.

I want to watch the college games on Saturday as well. UGA vs USCe and Alabama vs Penn St.

I'll be in Chicago for the game and it's my first NFL game outside the Georgia Dome. Would love to meet up with some Falcons fans tailgating. Any word on a location we can all get together?

I think it's going to be hard to get a tailgate together with the price of parking in Chicago. I expect parking near the stadium to be $75-$100. My friend will have a car and he can bring some supplies. If I knew everyone that was going and was positive people would contribute to my expenses I can try to set something up. The problem is people say they are going to do it and usually back out. It even harder when I'm flying up there and don't have my smoker and other supplies, but we could make it work.
