Rams trying to mold Bradford into a Matt Ryan?

Recommended Posts

Rumors had the Rams targeting Harvey Dahl, Jason Snelling, Brian Finneran, and now yes Jerious Norwood. It seems like they want to surround Bradford with the same players Matt Ryan started out with.

Also Noel Devine is a failure, after rejecting the falcons and said we practically begged for him, he got cut.

Free agent RB Noel Devine reportedly "walked out" on the Eagles.

Devine was waived on Saturday, but apparently "left the squad on his own." If true, it would raise an immediate red flag for any potential future suitors. The deck is already stacked against the under-sized (5-foot-8, 170 pounds) back, so it would be a shame if he gave teams another serious reason to overlook him.

What a Frigging DiVA!!

Snelling, had contributed more than you think. He blocks for Matt Ryan, he bails him out by being the check down guy, he always get positive yards no matter if it's rushing or receiving.

Brian Finneran is always sure handed, always get 3rd down completion and that beautiful fade route in the red zone of course Fin gets those 8/10 times.

flyhighfalcons' s is still right. a check down guy and a low level wr dont make a qb.

A backup RB, no matter how much they contribute, never makes a QB. Neither does a guy that averages 20 receptions a year.

Statistically, Matt had a better season his rookie year.

They were nearly equal in yards passed, and Matt's rating was nearly 10 points better than Bradford in their Rookie seasons.

Bradford is going to be a good QB; he's smart and he's pretty athletic. He has great promise.

Matt has already proven that he is good, and he will continue to improve.

Let's see what happens this year.

There are always 2 sides to every story.

He could have found one of Vicks dirty(herpes infested) straps in his locker.

He could have realized,..... WTF am I doing in Philly , and Ran.

The important part is this.

He came to his senses and GTFO of Philly.

Bradford will be good, and I understand what thier philosophy is by putting some of our ex-solid players around him to not only help him, but also help thier team. But I think that they'd be better off trying to go more with younger FA's and guys that were less injury prone. That will help more over the long haul IMO.

Dahl is a good pick up though, I always liked the guy and his bring it attitude.

Whether or not Bradford will be better than Ryan remains to be seen. Even if someday he ends up being better statistically, Ryan has a better chance to win Super Bowls right now.

I agree.

The Rams are a good fit for Dahl.

Bradford?

Yep. he will become a NFL Greats.

Gotta give the HC some props for being patient on drafting a QB.

Really homers? Negging me this much for an opinion that isn't insulting in anyway to the Falcons nor a stupid opinion? Pathetic.

I don't think they negged you because of your opinion, I think it was the way you went about it in your first post by being a **** to the original poster and calling his thread stupid, which essentially is calling him stupid for an observation.

Yeah, this board is famous for that. If you haven't purchased a pair of homer glasses when having an opinion, the negative nancys will definitely come out in full force.

In this instance, he was actually being the negative nancy (which seems to be something he does fairly often)
