Ok, I was with you on this. You get a choice between Us and our hated NFC East nemesis and you choose them..... you deserve what you get. However, how would you feel if a team did this to you???? I for one would have ****-fire and brimstone in my belly for that team as long as my career lasted and then some. So, taking into consideration that this guy may have a fire of hatered against this Eagles make me think maybe would should send another offer.

We dont have to offer him anything because he was waived instead of released any team can claim him off of the wavier wire and pay him the rookie min and there isnt anything he can do about it.

I hate the idea of defending the Eagles but he is a udfa that should be lucky his phone rang at all. UDFAs are camp bodies that have achieved something if they stick around long enough to get some autographs of real players before they are cut. I have no idea why every year this board selects a few of them and treats them like overlooked first round picks. It is silly. It is even sillier to think he had his choice of teams and picked the Eagles.

I am not saying he can't be a future HOFer but he is so far from that right now it is absurd to follow him. If he comes here I won't even bother learning his number until he gets on the team and gets activated for some games.

Yeah I get your point, just couldn't resist throwing a rant out there at those freaking eagles!

I can't wait until the Falcons face them, I know I am biased and pro Falcon in my opinion. But I honestly and un biased I see the Falcons offense as something special this season, and I don't think the eagles or any team can stop them if they all remain healthy.

On a side note, I don't think the eagles are the measuring stick of the NFC either, last time I looked it was the packers. Either way, IMO, this season it will be the Falcons.

Oh shoot, sorry I changed the subject on ya there. I'm just sick of all this wow eagles signed talk around here that's why in my stupidity I referred to them once again. :o

Yeah, your right. +1

That you should mine your own business. That's my point

Oh, so your saying that your opinion is the only one that matters on here? Or in other words if someone disagrees with you or ask a question about one of your post then they are to be considered irrelevant in your opinion?

Whatever, you posted, don't get your panties in a wade when somebody responds to your post, just because you don't like someones opinion is not no reason for you to start talking smack toward them. I am here to make friends and discuss the Falcons, not sure what you are here for if that's the type of attitude you are going to have when someone post something. Whatever....

BTW: Edited just because there is an option to do so.

The RB situation as I see it...

1-Turner

2-Rodgers

3-Gartrell Johnson

1-Mughelli

2-Cox or Gartrell Johnson

#3 RB is the main concern for me, and lets face it, that is not the worst thing in the world to be concerned with. As it stands all five of these guys could be our backs or a Cadilac Williams could be brought in pushing Johnson into a fight with Cox and maybe even Mellow for the back up FB job.

Personnally I would like to see a speedy guy like Cadilac brought in to be Turners back up as the main ball carrier in case of injury or Rodgers' back up as 3rd down specialist. Cadilac has excelled at both in his injuru riddled career which is why a #3 role might be best for him at this point in his career. Either way, I suspect any move to fill one or both of these positions(#3 RB, #2 FB) wont happen until final cuts or whenever F/A signings dont count against you regarding compensation picks.

As a falcon and Neer fan I have watched him play since he came out of highschool. BTW if you have not seen his highschool youtube its on of the best. He is undersized for the college level. I dont think he will stand a chance at the NFL level. But I would love for the falcons to give him a try. He had a chance to leave the year before after a great year. But he decided to stay and help his team for the next year. He is a good person and would fit right in with the type of players the Falcons look for. I dont think he gives a crap where he plays he just wants to prove the doubters (myself included) wrong again.

Did I say that? Did I give that impression? I wrote something to someone else and put nevermine. They know who it was for. It wasn't for you so don't worry about it

Sorry, I thought it was for me. I apologize. :(

It's confusing because you are selecting the "Reply" button from the top where it doesn't quote the message, you should select the "Reply" button on the message and quote it when replying to a specific message.

But then again you might have been replying to the original message.

No offense meant, sorry for the misunderstanding.

Go Falcons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please tell this post is a joke????

No joke.

Per Rotoworld:

"Free agent RB Noel Devine reportedly "walked out" on the Eagles.

Devine was waived on Saturday, but apparently "left the squad on his own." If true, it would raise an immediate red flag for any potential future suitors. The deck is already stacked against the under-sized (5-foot-8, 170 pounds) back, so it would be a shame if he gave teams another serious reason to overlook him."

 He must have been mentored by Vince Young.

How could anybody want this kid on their team. Always been drama around him, some not his own doing, but the stuff with Deion was strange. Walking out on possibly your only chance is crazy. I know Undrafted players can become stars, even a few running backs, but often times they were from small colleges, or just didn't play alot in college. I think rarely does a guy with his hype make it.

You really dont know what your talking about. First his parents died and Deion was someone helping him. What is wrong with that. He might of figured he did not have a shot and decided to leave. Its a business move. He is a person who has been through a lot and if you go on any wvu board you will hear how good of a person he is. Please dont post something when you do not have a clue.

Devine's had a bit of a tough go, that is for sure. Both of his parents died of Aids. I can't imagine what it's like to carry something like that around as a young man.

That being said, quitting on the Eagles does not bode well for him at all. It was a bad move.

WTF... That little dude is ********. How could he have thought that it would be a good idea to "walk out".
