Perhaps the most telling "Tweet" out of New Orleans

wwltvsports - Suffice it to say, however, that in talking w/ some of the FA who re-signed w/ N.O., the past 5 years played a HUGE factor in re-signing.

To me this tweet says volumes about the attitude of the team. The Saints, dispite having 29 Free Agents, have signed nearly every player they wanted and have only lost a rotational player at DT.

Sproles signed in FA, and Rodgers approached the team and asked to join them before the lockout started. The Saints did not approach him. That's almost unheard of.

I really believe the Ownership, Front Office and Coaching Staff is in bigtime sync right now.

Good work

what pisses me off is that we finally get really good and every other team in the NFC South is really good or on the rise

criticize the Panthers for overpaying all you want, but they did take some big steps forward this offseason

edit: only other time we were a very good team was the Dome Patrol years and we had the misfortune of having the 49ers in our division during their dynasty time.

every time we played those ******** I felt like crying and saying "Mommy mommy turn off the blender!"

That's the nature of the business though. A lot of teams are getting with the program these days by building contenders from the ground up, so you just need to try and stay that one step ahead of them with attitude and cohesiveness, which I truly believe the Saints finally have under the Payton/Loomis administration!

Very telling indeed. Congrats on the saints for their gigantic turnaround. They have come a long way since the bag head days.

Yeah, it is pretty cool to hear guys saying stuff like they wanted to come play for the Saints because of our winning tradition and roster strength/team leadership! Where we come from as Saints fans, that was far from always being the case, to say the least.

Thanks for the congrats!
