Falcon Man™
The beermanYou know it!! Even though he makes just about every tackle on ST, we need to get him OFF ST and I think he will continue to improve. Dude is RELENTLESS pass rushing and was JUST missing getting multiple sacks last year. I know that doesn't mean a whole lot but he was quite disruptive in the backfield. Falcon Man™
Everyone wants to go to that powerhouse call the Falcons tho.Well, when CJ says he wants to be a winner and we were in the running to get him, who wouldn't think we had a good shot. I mean, he isn't going to be winning anytime soon in Carolina. Maybe he just meant win as in 1 or 2 games is enough?
yardbird?
The beermanLMAO........They won't need to worry about getting into a bidding war with the Bucs......sounds like we'll be breaking in our rookies........nothing wrong with staying young. Free agency has become an even bigger crap shoot than the draft, and a lot more expensive.

IF teams were smart it wouldnt be as much a crap shoot though!Quality doesnt always have a BIG name!
Big Bubba
Well, when CJ says he wants to be a winner and we were in the running to get him, who wouldn't think we had a good shot. I mean, he isn't going to be winning anytime soon in Carolina. Maybe he just meant win as in 1 or 2 games is enough? No no, he meant, pound on a previous season winner. Which is what he's going to do to the Falcons Oline and Ryan this season, with his new hate for the Falcons. I'm just a simple translator of NFL players young and old. I'm.............. not a hero. DD: Objective Elite
I would guess we roll with what we have on the D-Line. I don't see Atlanta going after Ray Edwards and we certainly won't trade for Osi. So it looks like Beirman gets another shot, hopefully he can wrap up the QB when he gets there. With the money we didn't spend on CJ, I think we re-sign both Clabo and Blalock. I could also see us going after Jonathan Joesph, we need a nickleback desperately(Saints,Pack,Colts,Texans,Eagles)

If they aren't really looking to make a big splash in FA with big name players.. What players on their team can they give extensions to? Anyone currently worthy of a huge payday? DO YOU spend that much money on a NICKEL CB?

Dominik has gone public and said we won't be big players in FA. Maybe he's lying, you know how they play this game. If he's not lying, then we'll see some back door maneuvers to hide this cap money. Part of me keeps expecting the Bucs to swoop down on Aso at the very last second. Surprising everyone.
Joremarid
nothing wrong with drafted defensive players and actually giving them a chance to develop.
Big Bubba
nothing wrong with drafted defensive players and actually giving them a chance to develop.Nothing wrong at all. Sometimes, the development process can take a few years, in order to mold a defender into a great, quality player.

No way in heck does he goes to ATL to be a Nickel. He is better then Dunta. He is a starter maybe even a #1 CB.

Serge
I don't have a problem with Biermann starting, but I'd like another pass rusher either at end or on the inside. Sidbury might finally come around but him and Cliff Matthews aren't terribly promising.
