THE ICEMAN
I think they Falcons could fix two of the biggest problems by taking a little risk it could back fire either way and have to pay Kiwanuka next year if he pans out or he gets injured again this year. That would save them a bunch of money now by getting Mathias Kiwanuka and then spend the big money on another CB like Jonathan Joesph then that would allow them to bump Grimes there best Ball Hawk inside to play the nickel more and center field when they play zone. I think he is more under the radar than Joesph. Kiwanuka would be a good fit if Edwards is no longer in the mix. Not a long term fix but a short terms guy that can add something in my opinion. FalcoChicquera
Can't afford both and a lineman.Grimes went to the Pro Bowl and had 11 picks in 2 years. Why do people want to move him to nickel?Next.
KANE337
I feel the Falcons should get a mid-market DE this year to rotate with Kroy and Abraham. Next year they can go after Abraham's replacement. They also need a nickel corner. Owens is not cutting it.

Apparently he was the worst CB last year, as he allowed 71.3% of passes to be completed. The worstRichard Marshall(notes), Carolina Panthers: 71.3%, 72 burns on 101 targets, 765 yards, 5 TD, 7 passes defensedMarshall's been doing the contract dance with the Panthers for a few years now, but his numbers just don't justify the inflated opinion. Carolina was horrid last year, but its front seven was surprisingly good, leaving most of the blame for these stats on the man himself.http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Higher-Education-Burn-Rate-for-Cornerbacks;_ylt=Ai9VxqdD6oBzclKXdAOMq6pDubYF?urn=nfl-wp2995
Game Blouses™
I'm all for signing Mathias Kiwanuka i love that guy and i think he can still improve but as for a corner Joseph will be too expensive. We should wait a bit on signing a corner i think a few teams may decide to cut their corners maybe a guy like Nate Clements, Rashean Mathis or a Terrence Newman, i'm not sure just speculating that it might happen. CrimsonFalcon
I know a few years ago Mathis was a good player, haven't heard much since. The last Mathis we had turned out pretty good thought. I think he can have a Brian Williams effect with slightly better ball skillsWhen I saw Joseph was available, I immediately thought that maybe we should go after him.I don't think Joseph will take nickel money. FlyHighFalcons
Joseph is going to cost too much to play nickel, expect him to sign in Detroit. Kiwi was linked to us late yesterday by ESPN, could be a real option.

SBorBust
At least he will be on the same team as Roddy White. After the way Roddy out-hustled the niners' secondary the past two seasons, I'm sure he'd look forward that.
dsgbncali
I think its because the average WR in today's NFL is 6'1 Grimes is 5'7. after all the talk about ball skills and body control he can be out muscled. bigger physical WR's take Grimes lunch money and there aint nothin he can do about it. and I do think that Grimes would have a much better impact against teams like GB who can go 4 and 5 wide

sdogg
I think Nate Clements could be our next Foxworth/Williams type of vet CB. Nate is nowhere near what he used to be, but I feel hes an upgrade over Fox/Williams. Would give us solid depth and competition for the NB spot.
