They don't account for dead money, RFAs, UFAs, roster bonuses, benefits, restructured contracts that TD is probably working on as we speak, etc. Good luck. Peyton Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 With the 3 mil exemption the Falcons are like 21 mil under the cap, but really, it's a moving target because of the extra 20 mil the league gave in "benefits".I think that extra money will allow teams to bypass guaranteed salary in exchange for easily acheivable incentives.So.....if the Falcons truly had only 21 mil to spend, they would be in a bit of a mess, but I think they have some flexibility.
