DirtyBirdDynasty
Here's how I presently see our depth chart heading into FAQB: Ryan, Redman. I don't see us keeping a 3rd QB unless we find one we believe can replace Redman.RB: Turner, Snelling?, Rodgers. Is Snelling a UFA? I thought he signed a RFA tender before the lockout. If we lose him we have no proven runners (or pass catching RBs for that matter) behind him. We would be wise to retain Snelling and reduce Turners regular season carries to arond 250. Snelling can catch passes but is not dynamic, it's hoped that Rodgers will be. Norwood is a UFA and probably wont be resigned due to durability concerns.FB: MughelliTE: Gonzalez, Peele, Palmer. We failed to find a talented young TE for Gonzo to mentor in the draft, Peele may be a cap casualty if hes making any money. We could use another player here.WR: White, Jones, Douglas, Jenkins, Meier, Weems. Jones was drafted to start and will immediately. Douglas is a far better fit in the slot than Jenkins and will be the 3rd WR unless Jones or White slide into the slot to make room for Jenkins on the outside in 3 WR sets. I dont think Jenkins will fetch much in a trade so it will ultimately come down to how much it costs to keep him how much we can free up without him and how much we need cap space. Having depth at WR is a good idea and would allow us to run more formations. Meier and Weems should also get some opportunities in the passing game.LT: Baker, Svitek. Baker has had injury problems adding a vet pass protector might be a good insurance planLG: Blalock?, Jackson. C: McClure, HawleyRG: Dahl?, JohnsonRT: Clabo? Reynolds The OL situation is our biggest priority on O with 3 starters up for FA. Clabo may be the biggest FA priority. In terms of backups Reynolds is the only OT we've drafted, with Johnson, Hawley and Jackson on the inside.DE: Abraham, Biermann, Sidbury, Matthews. I see Davis and Anderson as likely cuts/trades. Adding atleast 1 talented DE via FA or trade is our top priority. Sidbury is expected to take a big leap in production and Matthews will be called on early.DE is our biggest need.DT: Babineaux, Peters, Jerry, Walker, Lewis. Jerry could leap Peters soon if healthyOLB: Weatherspoon, Nicholas?, Adkins, Dent. Nicolas is a FA, if he leaves there are many FA LBs, Peterson, Adkins or Dent could be caled on to replace himMLB: Lofton, PetersonCB: Grimes, Robinson, Owens, Franks. Adding another CB to compete for the nickel is quite important. DE and CB were our problems in the GB lossS: Moore, Decoud, ShillingerK: Bryant, BosherP: KoenonKR/PR: WeemsDefensively we need to improve the pass rush, add CB depth and figure out the LOLB positionPosition battles:Backup RBs: Snelling fits well as the #2 RB but may be a FA. Rodgers is hoped to fill the 3rd down receiving back spot#2 TE: Peele isn't a receiving threat, is ther a TE other than Gonzo on the roster who can be?OL: Are any backup OL ready to step up as starters? None are high draft picksDE: We desperately need more production. Biermann needs more sacks, Sidbury needs to start making plays, Matthews will be needed early and we need to sign or trade for a playmakerOLB: Nicholas may leave if we dont sign another one of the backups has to step upNickel CB: Owens had a bad game in the playoff loss he should be challenged by Franks in any case we should sgn atleast 1 vet to compete for the nickel

Voice of Reason
I think you are HIGHLY underestimating JPW. After another year, Redman's gone and JPW will be the #2.
