BlazerHarvard
The 2011 Season is now underway.Tennessee begun the year by pounding FCS West 73-3. Quarterback Tyler Bray went 11 of 16 passing for 392 yards and 6 touchdowns while the Vols also barreled over FCS West on the ground as they had two 100+ yard rushers in Tauren Poole (24 for 170, 1 TD) and Rajion Neal (4 for 128, 2 TD's). At 6'6", 205 pounds, Bray reminds us all of Peyton Manning in stature. After today's game, his play also reminded us of Peyton. But, like Bray's number suggests relative to Peyton's (for all you numerology folk out there), he is currently only half as good as Manning became. That shouldn't stop us from getting excited, but it should keep our expectations in check for young Mr. Bray. After the game, a confident Derek Dooley sent out a warning to the SEC: "The SEC title will be ours, but we have to blow the competition out of the water. Florida's first, Georgia's second, LSU is third, and the list goes on. We're going to take the SEC over and there's nothing anyone can do about it. So, for all you other teams out there in the SEC, get ready. Hire some additional emergency staff because our boys are coming for the kill, game in and game out."If Coach Dooley turns out to be correct, it'll be the first time Tennessee has won the SEC since 1998, the same year in which Phillip Fulmer and Tee Martin also led the Vols to a National Championship. Let's just hope Dooley backs up the talk unlike the man who shall not be named. Edited July 20, 2011 by BlazerFalcon
BlazerHarvard
LSU had a close one against Oregon with a 49-45 victory. Looks as though the 4th quarter was the difference as the Tigers managed to score a whopping 28 points. thempizzle
Sorry about the restart... my power cut out this morning as I tried playing in a storm. That was the BEST game I've ever played.Jordan Jefferson had the game of his life, I'm sure. The Oregon secondary was just as poor as the Oregon offense was stellar. They run a mean spread and run it with anyone who has legs. Great game. Uga_dog1
My game started off a little shaky because I'm not used to Arkansas playbook. I didn't score any points in the 1st quarter. (Had 3 red zone trips that resulted in 0 points). Then from the 2nd quarter and on, I was able to get going a little better. Still got some work to do on defense tho. Cable Guy
I struggled in my win with Ole Miss over BYU. The OL played like poop. Had some untimely false starts and holding calls.

Uga_dog1
Looks like I will be lucky to get through week 2. Already today I've had to back of my game twice due to stupid crap going on at the house. Sorry about that.
Uga_dog1
Finally was able to get through my 2nd game without someone having to pull me away from the Xbox. Don't let the 21-14 score fool ya. Here's a list of everything that happened to me during this game:- 3 missed FG's (the wind was howling and plus my kicker has the weakest leg in the country)- Starting QB knocked out in 2nd quarter- Starting RB knocked out in 2nd quarter (returned in 4th qtr)- TD pass called back for holding- 45 yard punt return negated by a penalty- Backup QB fumbled and New Mexico ran the ball back for a TDI'm leaving tomorrow to go to a wedding and won't be back until late Sunday. Just giving you a heads up in case the Dynasty advances before then.
Threepac Daddy
brantley was back to being brantley, 16-36 with 1td/0int. defense struggled all night, think i know what the problem is. running game and special teams bailed me out again. another kickoff return for td and fumble on the opposing kickoff which lead to a td for me. brantley got sacked 6 times this week, thanks to horrible oline play and fumbled 3 times which 2 were returned for tds and 1 was resulted in a fg
BlazerHarvard
Yeah, my UAB boys gave you a run for your money. Tomahawk and big boss were about to play tonight but EA was giving them a tough time. In addition to that, I'm going to need to take my game to gamestop to have it fixed or replaced. It froze up on me after I beat a dude online, so I had to restart my xbox. Now, all of a sudden, the game freezes after I 'press start' at the beginning of the game. BlazerHarvard
impossible to get our game off. every time we tried one of us got disconnected from the other. wats wrong with ea?Try again once more.If that doesn't work, this is what we can do:You and Tomahawk can play an unranked or ranked game outside of dynasty. Whoever wins can play the dynasty game versus the computer or sim it. Your choice. I will "throw out the results" (which I have the capability of doing as the commissioner) until the real winner of the game also wins in the actual dynasty. It's either an XBOX or EA problem. There are times where I've tried to start a party with someone on Xbox and I was unable to do so on account of some networking differences or something. For instance, I'm unable to start a party with my brother in Florida or with a buddy I play NHL hockey with that's from Canada. So, that may be the case here.In week 3 of the dynasty, I play Threepac. I played Threepac last year in another dynasty, so we shouldn't have any issues. If we do happen to have issues, then there's a problem with EA. Tomahawk Choppa
We can't even play an unranked match so you can sim the game for us. We don't want to hold the league up.
