Guest mashburn
I'm not sure if we need a LB. but in this article they mention david harris. I do like the guy, and would like to have him in the mix.The other guy he mentions is James anderson with the panthers. this one I do not understand. biermann is better then this guy.But I do see us going after FA in the middle and not the top notch guy. I would love to get charles Johnson but I think it is going to be possible to hard to get him.
madman88
james anderson is a LB that plays for the panthers... i would pick him up and pair him with sppon and lofton...

k-train
thanks I was wondering why this article mentioned him. do you think we would need to pick up a FA LB?Absolutely. Peterson will be a UFA and is 350 years old. Nicholas will be a UFA, too. Outside of Spoon & Lofton, we have backups/special teams guys. We will need a starter if we let either or both Peterson & Nicholas walk. At the very least, we will need someone who can be a heavy rotational LB if we decide to bring back just one of our own FAs. trilltownmafia
The bottom line is that the falcons need to resign the FA's on the o line first get a top notch de I perfer johnson from the saints he knows the qb's and the teams in the nfc south. We also gotta get a good corner I like the corner from the bengals and I would resign one of my linebackers and pick up a solid replacement at the other linebacker spot. I think he'd be a much better player that way than he has been as an OLB in the 3-4.
Panther Pride
james anderson is a LB that plays for the panthers... i would pick him up and pair him with sppon and lofton...Free agent OLB James Anderson feels "pretty confident" that the Panthers will re-sign him after the lockout. It sounds like Anderson is open to re-signing during the initial 72-hour window, which would be a nice plus for the Panthers. The 27-year-old is coming off a breakout season at strong-side linebacker and can also play the weak side. http://twitter.com/#!/josephperson/statuses/93309567479455744

Why did he say that about Robert James? what has he done?I am a little bit more at ease with Spencer Adkins, but I would like to see more of him. Guest mashburn
yea i kno, he flashed a lil bit on ST when he did play... but who knos him james and dent will be fighting for a spot at OLB...I forgot to mention Dent. I would fill the most comfortable with Dent for many reasons. I am not saying "OMG this is the guy", but I feel most comfortable with him. every seems to not take notice that he played a lot like Lofton in college and also was in a tougher ring then what lofton was in. Not saying he is going to out do lofton, cause I know of a lot of bust we all think are going to be stars and we all seen them crash and burn. But Dent had playing skills I liked. I just wish he had a year (I would like 2 years) before he started taking on the role.
