Nobis all the way !

I got Nobis vs. Tuggle in the finals !

2 players who never wore any other jersey but that of the Atlanta Falcons. Neither player left the franchise, in their prime, after their rookie contract. Much less leave the franchise with egg on their face by dissing the city and team like Sanders did. I have no propblem with Sanders making it to the Final 4 but he does not belong in the Final 2 in my book..........those places are reserved for Nobis, Tuggle, or maybe Bartkowski.

I'm a "real" Falcon fan and i voted for Sanders.

That is sad really.

Are you old enough to remember how Sanders left this franchise ? He dissed the franchise more then any home team player in history. For that I cannot have him in the final 2 greatest Falcons of all time.

If your not old enough to know how Sanders acted to the Falcons then I cannot hold that against you.

Apologizing for the Smith family, who wanted the Dolphins, and criticizing a player for leaving when he was due earned money. Sad people have to disrespect Deion to pump up T. Nobis. Blame the NFL HOF selection committee they're the ones that don't think Nobis worthy...not Deion nor his fans. Deion grew up and made peace; some of our fans need to. Deion's name like Nobis will forever remain in Falcon lore.

I don't blame the people who are voting for Deion. It's obvious that many of them have "beaten woman syndrome".

It's the only possible explanation for voting for a guy whose most famous moment came when he humiliated the Falcons franchise and declared the Georgia dome as his house.......while he was wearing a San Francisco 49er jersey.

I hope they get the help they need.

Yes you do. You call a player that knows his worth and that the NFL is a business selfish. While comparing players who grew up in two totally different eras(media). Nobis is deserving of the HOF and it does not take tearing down a Falcon great to others to do so. Glad AB has the wisdom that some don't. Nobis is great w/o tearing down #21 and if you can't make you're argument w/o poohing on #21 than you are disrespecting Nobis. If Nobis was in the same situation as DS, he would have left too. Or do you think Nobis a fool?

I don't have any problem with Deion. I am just describing the mindset that I believe allows someone to vote for him as Falcon fan favorite.

The shining moment of his career is when he came back and humiliated this franchise. He's more remembered for that than anything he did in a Super Bowl.

Go to Google Images and type in Deion Sanders. The first image you get is a mugh shot. The second image is this:

Most Falcons fans that were around in 1994 know what this is. Vote for him if ya'll want to, but I don't have beaten woman syndrome.

No, I remember him for what he did as a Falcon...Smith's humiliated the fans. Did you support #21(Falcon)like you do #20? If Grimes gets stiffed and leaves would you feel the same way about him...or blame AB? Tell me something great about Nobis(you've seen) or can you only tear down a repentent man(Deion) who is know amongst the legends. Sending Falcon gear to the HOF.

I never watched Nobis and I haven't voted in this poll.

If Grimes leaves that will be a bummer. At least he made it to all the games while he was here though. He didn't leave his teammates without thier best player because he was off playing baseball for a 1/3rd of the season.

The shining moment of his career? Really?

Wow.

And here i was, actually thinking you had watched Deion play.

My mistake.

You think he made a play for the Falcons more famous than that play? Nah.

I was at the Fulton County Stadium for his first pick 6, but I bet most Falcons fans, probably 90%, couldn't say when it was without looking it up. Maybe 95%.

Everybody remembers him picking Jeff George though.

Then why are you voicing your opinion(this thread) w/o voting? Just hating and nothing more. You can argue against #21 but can't vote for Nobis?

So we have to neg Deion because he was better than the average athlete? What a crime.
