JayAdams
The second Final Four matchup is open for voting between No. 3 Deion Sanders and No. 7 Tommy Nobis.Click here to register your vote in this matchup.Which one gets your vote?
Robb4242
Unlike the other matchup, this one is no contest for me. A class guy who was one of the elite players of his era and gave his all for the Falcons. The other, a "me-first" guy, who while elite, wanted to have himself in the spotlight, even at the expense of his team. Not to mention that once he left the team, he completely trashed them for the next decade. How Deion made it this far is a mystery to me. I loved him when he played here, but what he did after that, there's just no way I can see him being the "favorite" Falcon.
Karst41
To vote for Deion is to also vote For Dallas, San Fran, Baltimore. To vote for Tommy (Mr. Falcon) Nobis is a vote of Purity.Tommy has also done more for this city and for decades longer than even Warrick Dunn!( Sorry Warrick no Diss intended you are still the Man)Say what you will about Deion's play , but Deion always played out of harms way.Deion did not fight off O Linemen and Full Backs on every play.Who is the greatest Linebacker of all time? **** Butkus.Ask **** Butkus wh the greatest MLB of all time was.His answer is Tommy Nobis.Deion may have refined a position But Nobis was the definition of a NFL Playerin both strength and character. FalconState
I get what you guys are saying about Tommy Nobis but i have to go with Deion one of my favorite players ever
Karst41
My guess is that if a person did not watch Tommy Nobis play would (understandably) vote for Deion.Ti this I will say that perhaps the only player to compare Nobis to would be perhaps Ray Lewis. But even still Nobis was better than Lewis.Sander as I said, Played not to get hurt. Peyton
Here is what is going to happen. 80% of the people who post in this thread will be voting for Nobis, but Deion will win the vote going away. It's sad.

ditchdoc57
Said thing is that this is even a poll, Tommy Nobis is the all time Falcon, heart and soul, blood and sweat!
The Falcon Jedi Knight
Deion changed games in ways Nobis never did. Yea, Nobis was a mean, tough s.o.b. and a GREAT LineBacker, but Deion had more impact in affecting the games.

Everytime he suited up, for baseball or football, Falcons/Braves fans got excited.Whenever he stepped on the field you knew something awesome was gonna happen.I can say that if he wins this silly competition, it wont be sad, by any means.Deion will never be Mr. Falcon, but he very well could be the most exciting player to ever wear a Falcons uniform and is absolutely a fan favorite. Terber
I wish I was old enough to remember Tommy Nobis. I here nothing but great things about the player and the man. I like Deion and don't begrudge him for making the most of his opportunities in the NFL. It worked out great for him. Great player and he appears to be a really good man. Someone to admire, however I don't think that Deion really considers himself a Falcon. I may be wrong, but I do remember when he left, circumstances were not warm and fuzzy. Can't say that I blame him though, it was tough being a Falcon fan under the Rankin Smith regime.

Goal Line D
Being 32 I actually saw Deion play never Nobis. That said I voted for Nobis. He, like Tuggle, should be in the HOF.
falcons faithful
The people who will vote for Sanders are not TRUE Falcons fans which is just what Sanders was.Tommy Nobis is THE ATLANTA FALCONS.
Statick
I had to vote for Nobis on this one. He was the first Atlanta Falcon and he played here his entire career.

HouseofEuphoria
The people who will vote for Sanders are not TRUE Falcons fans Wow. Idiocy. This is the trouble with these types of silly contests- they always bring out people who feel entitled to be called the "True" Falcon fans. This is the most divided fan base in the league, period. Always will be. The whole "you're not a REAL fan, neener neener" thingee is so laughable.I dont know why they didnt add Vick to this stupid contest so we could all have some REAL in-house fighting.I'm a "real" Falcon fan and i voted for Sanders. Kiss my a**.
