go research who they are and then get back to me. There is only about 5 of them that matter...many of the other ones were signed last year because of injuries (safety, TE, and RB) and then some of them have outlived their starter status (Sharper and Shanle).

We will have about $30 million under the cap which will be plenty to sign those we want and the rookies with the rookie scale that will be in effect

Evans has already been signed...don't know why he keeps showing up on lists

here are the ones we probably need to sign that see significant playing time: Bushrod (depends on if Brown is ready. we won't overpay tho), Goodwin (same situation as Bushrod), Harper, Moore, David Thomas, Usama Young (special teams standout)

out of the two DTs, one will not be signed because we just got Rogers. Cross off anybody who is a RB on that list other than Hamilton (and we have exclusive rights). At LB, we will have Casillas back from injury and we just drafted one so the only ones on the list that is a target is Dunbar and possibly Mitchell. We will only keep one of the backup SS on that list and that will probably be Reis. Torrence might make it since I expect Gay to be cut to save money. Charleston will be a target to sign for backup money and Roby and Humphrey will only be back if they sign near league minimum. Same with Strief.

A lot of the people on this list are at SS, RB, and LB which is where we got hit by injuries last year. You can count half the list as cut just by knowing who will be back at those positions

Patrick Robinson was our nickel back who also played as starter some. The reason he isn't starting is because he was freaking rookie and had two quality CBs in front of him. Please tell me you aren't so stupid as to think a rookie CB should replace quality starters when CB has one of the higher learning curves in the NFL

also, you are ignorant of the way Greg Williams handles defense. He builds from back forward and he has a nickel back on the field just as much as a SLB which means a nickel back in our system must be of starter quality.

I am ready to dump Devery...I would rather keep Moore.

Meachem is fully healed from his toe injury so he will be our guy to stretch the field and Arrington would be a 4th WR that any team would love to have.

Dude, if you thing the Saints are screwed at $120M, you guys are next in line. Our payrolls were right next to one another last season. Rumor has it there will be a one player exemption for the higher payroll teams as well.

The lower cap will not be an issue.

there are several other WRs on that list that I wouldn't mind having

you are acting like Moore is what makes our offense work and that isn't the case. I can show you where every player on offense has made great plays in one game or another to make a difference...thats how we do things. Using last year as a barometer is silly because we had no running game due to using 6th and 7th string RBs and Brees had his worst professional season. Unless those things happen again, statistically they would be considered an aberration and therefore not relevant.

I don't consider Bush necessary because our offense has run fine without him. Same thing goes for Colston, Moore, Meachem, and Devry. The constant in the equation is Brees
