There is only about 5 of them that matter...many of the other ones were signed last year because of injuries (safety, TE, and RB) and then some of them have outlived their starter status (Sharper and Shanle). We will have about $30 million under the cap which will be plenty to sign those we want and the rookies with the rookie scale that will be in effect

Moore is more then likely gone, considering their will be teams giving him starter money. Plus you have the whole Reggie Bush situation and the draft Picks (which the first 2 rounders will porbably equate to 5 Mil combined.)SO just for Ingram, Jordan, Harper, and Nicks. Dago
How good is your offense without Moore and Bush.also, Patrick Robinson is your dimeback correct?... who takes a dimeback in the first round...lolPatrick Robinson was our nickel back who also played as starter some. The reason he isn't starting is because he was freaking rookie and had two quality CBs in front of him. Please tell me you aren't so stupid as to think a rookie CB should replace quality starters when CB has one of the higher learning curves in the NFLalso, you are ignorant of the way Greg Williams handles defense. He builds from back forward and he has a nickel back on the field just as much as a SLB which means a nickel back in our system must be of starter quality.you also completely ignored the part where I said that our offense was just as good if not better when Bush was not on the field. I love how you Falcons fans rip him and call him bust but now act like we are lost without him.Moore I would like to have back, but again we still put up points and were able to throw the ball well while he missed extended time due to injury. Meachem is fully healed from his toe injury so he will be our guy to stretch the field and Arrington would be a 4th WR that any team would love to have.Johnny Patrick is a third round pick and was chosen for a couple of reasons1)prevents Greer or Porter from holding us hostage. CB and FS are the two most important positions in a greg williams defense. 2)we need help badly with special teams and JP excelled at it in college3)Randall Gay is going to be released unless he takes a massive cut. He is scheduled to get 3.5 million this year. He was a nickel and dime back for us for the last few seasons. Leigh Torrence may be gone as well so it was going to be a position of need

I think people have got you guys figured out back when they did in '08.That's why I think Lance Moore is an extremely important asset to you guys, even though he was gone most of '09 he helped keep you guys in games this year that you otherwise would've lost (the game in Baltimore for example he made that insane play in the back of the endzone. 'Lucky' breaks occur when good players (Jenkins and White) don't give up on a play and give everything they have.I already said I would rather have Moore over Devery...if cutting Henderson is what is necessary to get the money to sign Moore, go for it. Meachem doesn't have to be a playmaker in our offense. He just has to force defense to respect his speed and stretch the secondary allowing Moore and Colston to work the underneath and middle of the field. I also have confidence that we won't see our RBs decimated this year again and the running game should approach 2009 form when we don't have scrubs signed off the street playing. Obviously, a running game makes Brees's job a lot easier

I was asying if Moore left would Meachem be able to produce results, and how do you know this Arrington kid is all that, I would like to see how he would do with Stephen Nicolas or Clint Session covering him.Meachem is a decent #3, he and devery both outplayed themselves in '09. really unless the whole saints team goes insane again this year (which I don't see happening, you guys are def dropping the first game to GB, no Will SMith is going to kill you guys + it's in Lambeau)If Moore left you guys would have to put Colston on the Outside, you can't put Devery on the outside on every play, that's to big of a liabilty. I can show you where every player on offense has made great plays in one game or another to make a difference...thats how we do things. Using last year as a barometer is silly because we had no running game due to using 6th and 7th string RBs and Brees had his worst professional season. Unless those things happen again, statistically they would be considered an aberration and therefore not relevant.I don't consider Bush necessary because our offense has run fine without him. Same thing goes for Colston, Moore, Meachem, and Devry. The constant in the equation is Brees
