Guest mashburn
Only giants and cubs have done this, and tonight the braves have entered into that.I think we all would love to have this happened with bobby cox though.
ATLBrave
Only giants and cubs have done this, and tonight the braves have entered into that.I think we all would love to have this happened with bobby cox though. We're actually the 5th team to do it, with the Cardinals and Dodgers being the two other teams ahead of us. Falconsfan567
I doubt it was him.You are probably right because had it been him I would have probably got negged too. What's the point of the plus/minus system if it has no effect of people getting banned?
ATL Bear
The Dodgers and Cardinals weren't part of the National League during their earliest wins, therefore they don't have 10,000 wins as a National League team. They were part of the American Association.Edit: That was the point made after the game. Edited July 16, 2011 by ATL Bear
R.C. Collins
The Dodgers and Cardinals weren't part of the National League during their earliest wins, therefore they don't have 10,000 wins as a National League team. They were part of the American Association.Edit: That was the point made after the game.This.Their earlier wins were not MLB wins therefore we are officially the third MLB team to have 10,000 wins. Baseball reference is not correct on this one.
Guest mashburn
You got negged for this and I have no idea why. I guess he couldn't handle the fact that he was wrong.Have a trol who is following me around ever since I asked questions about weems PR's. And I know "revenge" keeps following every post I make to say something stupid. Not saying out is her, but pretty funny that she visits my member site every couple of days, and then she talks crap on me, and then I get all these negs. Who ever is doing it had multiple accounts, as well.
K26dp
They're both correct. The American Association was a professional baseball league existed concurrently and in opposition to the National League. It was not a "minor league". Therefore, those wins for the Dodgers and Cardinals count when determining overall wins for an organization. However, if someone wants to set the bar to strictly to "National League wins", then the broadcast was correct.
