kenk
It is usually harder to play OT than OG because of pass blocking, and Clabo is my choice..
Falcon Fanatic
I'm thinking Blalock over either of them.Good call FFS1970. I would resign Blalock and let Dahl and Clabo walk. Move Blalock to RG (which was his natural position in college) and insert Johnson at LG and Reynolds or Svitek at RT. Both Dahl and Clabo while serviceable are 30 years old. We do not need to break the bank to sign either to a long term deal at that age. I would even look at Marshal Yanda who is 26 and can play guard or right tackle or Jared Gaither who is 25 at T before overvaluing Clabo's stock. I am for keeping Blalock and letting the other 2 walk as well but why move him to RG when he helped save Baker's arse plenty of times. I would not want to put Johnson with Baker but it might have to be that way.

Falconsfan567
I guess I need to make this disclaimer that I did not realize that both Dahl and Clabo were already over 30. Had I known that I probably wouldn't have made created this thread.

The Falcon Jedi Knight
Clabo is considered one of the best RTs in the NFL. Dahl isnt really on the map at RG. Keep Clabo, let Dahl walk.
falconfanatic365
Clabo will not be a Falcon next year. TD knew he would have to franchise him to keep him after making the pro bowl as an alternate last year. He chose not to. When will you people learn to quit voting pending free agents in to the pro bowl. I know players and coaches played a role as well but all these voters not thinking ahead needs to realize they eliminate our negotiating leverage when you attach the words PRO BOWLER to our FAs. Unfortunately, I think we lose Clabo and one guard, possibly both.

I would like to keep Blaylock if possible. Im not really a Sam Baker fan, I think he is playing out of position and should be a Guard. He gets burned against speed rushers too much and makes too many mental mistakes to be a LT.
