Free NFL Sunday Ticket for new direct tv customers

Recommended Posts

I was going to down grade my Direct TV package on line bc i am between jobs at the moment and before i logged in i noticed that every single package except for the smallest had nfl sunday ticket included at no extra charge. It usually runs about 300 a year or last year it was 7 payments of 50 bucks this year its 5 payments of 70 bucks (if u are already a customer) i got direct tv specificlly for sunday ticket and i honestly dont think there will be a season if they are offering at no extra charge, they make a lot of money off of sunday ticket.

Its a win win... they are going to get ALOT of new contracts that are, im assuming, two years.. If theres no season, they still get those contacts. If there is a season, they are going to get alot more people watching sunday ticket and may decide to buy it next year. Plus im assuming alot of people have been canceling their subscription due to fear of no season

I had a friend that did this two years ago. I believe it's a yearly special trying to get people in the door.

I had been debating on getting Direct TV and in June my living room TV went out. At Best Buy they were offering $300 rebates if you signed up for Direct TV. I had finally had enough of Charter Cable anyway, so I signed up. The lady told me after I signed up that NFL Sunday Ticket was included for this year in my deal AND if they didn't play this year, then it would be included for whatever year they do start playing again. I was a rather happy camper after hearing that.

direct tv is awesome it does get expensive after the specials are over though, maybe i'll try to work out an agreement with direct tv for at least a discounted nfl sunday ticket. They will also give u a lot of free trials on mlb extra innings and espn college game day and the other sports ones so its nice

I got Directv before 2009 season.

I got free NFL Sunday Ticket First year and Second year I got $20 off for 6 months, $5 off for $12 months, so at the end I paid around $150 for NLF Sunday Ticket.

My contract would run out on Sep 5th, I'll call them to extend it and get free NFL Sunday Ticket again this year if there's a NFL season.

So it's a Win-Win situation for both parties.

Yeah I took that deal 3 years ago, plus they threw in every movie channel for free for the first 3 months. There were a few catches though and they got all that money back. First of all, to get the games in HD it was an extra thing you had to buy which, if I remember correct, was about 70 bucks. I think it was called the "red zone". Secondly, I got addicted to having 20 HBO's, 15 Cinemax's and 12 Starz channels so I kept the package and after 3 months my monthly bill went up quite a bit. Lastly, it's a 2 year contract. After 1 year I had to move and the apartment I moved to didn't allow satellites. I can't remember how much it was, but the early termination fee was over $300 bucks. Needless to say, I'm so addicted that as soon as I moved out of that apartment I got directv again.

Just went to the site. Right now I got local cable which is killing me. Got a bundle with inet, cable and phone, for about 240 a month. Man, I need the freakin home phone bc cell serivce is lousy and I work from home. Gonna switch this month, at least in the 1st year I'll save about 70 month, 2nd year I'd still save about 40 bucks a month. Plus Sunday Ticket, and a LOT more HD channels! I'm ALL IN on this deal!

I already have direct tv, can I still get NFL ticket free since I already signed a contract?

they are usually always trying to work out some kind of deal, right now u can probably get it but it will cost some money, you will need to talk to them and see what they offer. I have to contact them my self cuz when i got direct tv i had to pay for it now its free to new customers.

i also got addicted to the 600 channels where u can watch rugby tournaments and stuff which has been nice with no nfl thus far, saw the college tournaments man they back up running backs and back up safeties playing rugby like super stars it was way faster paced then any of the uk rugby

  • 5 weeks later...

I've had Sunday Ticket since it started, they better give me that sh*t for free too or I'll be pizzed. I hate that when you've been a loyal costumer and they give new people a better deal than you. ie cell phone companies. I think it cost me like $400 last year for the ticket alone. I want my sh*t for free and a reach around or I'll go medieval on their a$$es.

I called last week since I signed a new two year deal with Directtv last month - was told I could not get sunday ticket free because I was not a new customer

nothing like being taken for granted, huh?
