Durrty
Watch Kurt Warner's assessment on NFLN...Fans tend to put a lot of pressure on Ryan due to his 0-2 record in the playoffs. True, he's made a few mistakes, but he's still learning. I guess that's what some are struggling to grasp. To even mention that he's reached his peak is ridiculous...he still has to fine tune his skills to where he's performing on a consistent basis. He has all the tools. Once he does that, there's no question of whether he's in the elite company of QBs.Check out the segment.(Sorry for not posting the link...I'm posting from my Droid...talk about dedication...lol) Comments??? BigDawgMania
i saw that and i respect kurt warner even more. i love how he said that the falcons are on the right track. i think ryan is already elite in my book. its just mularkey not allowing ryan to go deep. With the additon of julio jones, the falcons are going to be very dangerous.

Miller2Rison
6 turn overs? when? i dont recall a single game where ryan had 6 turn overs, if he had 6 interceptions or 6 turn overs all season that's pretty dam good. I saw Peyton Manning throw 6 interceptions in a single game before and i dont think anyone can argue that peyton manning is elite.

Sure, Brees, Manning, Brady, even Rivers are probably better QB's but like you said, "dream world" Sorry if you choose focus on the negatives about Matty Ice, but I will continue to believe that he is a superstar and will HELP put the first Lombardi Trophy in the Falcons trophy case. Grrrillapmpn Inc.®
No one is saying that Ryan isn't the guy. We just saying we want him to be better at being the guy.6 post season turnovers is no bueno. I don't care if you are Matt Ryan or Johnny Unitas, you throw six post season turnovers for my team and I am going to want changes at the position. And that don't necessarily mean a personnel change, it could be a mechanics change, more practice and focus on the deep ball. Just something to make steps in the right directions but those steps cant be made without the proper and fair criticisms.
