FreshNTan
We will be entering 4th year of this regimen and coming off one of the most embarrassing playoff performances can this team in place with coaching staff and upper management survive another a season without any playoff success ..I do feel heads will roll with Blank not tolerating another let down at end of the year . From a front office standpoint and moves that were made in draft kind of felt like a win now move at all cost . Understandable Jones is also part of long term future but with that being said you dont scrap the process if you dont feel like you are 1 or 2 pieces away ..Im guessing front office will sure up some positions through free agency when it begins and we are off on our journey Outside other DE there really isnt a weak area or a dire need ..QB......check ..ranks anywhere between 8-12oline ......solid in run blocking and decent in its pass protectionwr - one of best in game and bold move in draft for Julio + depth TE- while Tony G isnt same player he once was still very reliable This team will have 4 years to gel and learn every aspect of each scheme on offense and defense. Blank has continued to pour money into this franchise with free agent signingsTHERE SHOULD BE NO EXCUSE THIS YEAR Edited July 4, 2011 by FreshNTan

ATLfanintheROC
We won't make the playoffs this year. EVERYTIME we have the spotlight on us we just never do especially in back 2 back scenarios where we're trying to make the playoffs. & if we do we'll get blownout like we always do. Borat
If we lose a heartbreakers in which everyone plays well, no heads will roll. But really, the only excuse would be an injury to Matty Ice
ukfalc
The NFC is extremely competitvie, as is the NFC South. It is almost certain that one good team wikll miss the playoffs from this division. The Bucs may have a slight advantage, as they have a 3rd place shedule that sees them face 2 weaker opponents than us and the Aint's. when all is said an done, injuries will probably determine who wins the divison and who finishes 2nd and 3rd. UptownHardHitta
If you have injury problems like we did last year, then that would be an excuse. The defense needs upgrades. A few injuries there would be tramatic. I don't see much depth there.

Supes™
Yes. Young Ryan is only in his 4th year. And you would love that, right Mr. Right?Get behind your QB, man! Can you do that, or are you gonna be one of those "I'll get behind Ryan when he wins a playoff game!"What kind of a fan is that? (please pardon me if I have you confused with "a fan".) falcoholic2010
I know the organization from FO to Coaching Staff to FALCONS NATION was discussed with our playoff performance and this year will be payback time. DONT STOP BELIEVEING!!!!
Abe
This team is not a fluke. We have been consistent since the new staff was brought in. I expect better than last year. I expect an elite team every year from now on.
MattM12
Hate is a strong word, but I hate the attitude of some posters here. hate it.Will we win a playoff game next year? nothing is certain. Can we? Yes. Do we have a better franchise than most of the league. yup. Will DTan ever kiss a girl? nope.
Grrrillapmpn Inc.®
Unlike most fans I take NO solace in 13 regular season wins, screw the regular season. Only playoff success matters to me, and lately we have none.If they don't win a playoff game this year I'll be pissed but I'll still b rooting for them come 2012. UptownHardHitta
If there isn't any success in the playoffs this year, I bet the first thing I will hear is Ryan is still young, it is only his fourth year starting. My question is at what point is age not an excuse anymore? year 6, or 7? or sooner or later? What about year 3? Played so bad the Chargers drafted another QB. 4th year- 1 and done in the playoffs. 6th year- finally made the playoffs again-1 and done. Finally won a playoff game in his 3rd try in his 9th year. When should they have given up on Brees?4th year, 6th year, 8th year?Edited: Ooops- Brees won a game in his 6th year.
