Should The Falcons Forget About Landing Charles Johnson?

Recommended Posts

This is like an emergency...

What to do... What to do?

If we don't land this guy, Edwards becomes basically the one prime DE in the free agent pool.

Question:

Will the league allow a player to wear: #11 and still line up at LDE?

I tell you what, you keep being mad about trading some draft picks to get julio, and I will continue to have faith in an organization who study these players and makes these decisions for a LIVING!

Hurney will get in a bidding war with the Falcons before he lets CJ go.

Bidding war or not, I think a certain price from WINNING team will make CJ cut all ties, especially his hometown team

He's said he wants to play for a winner

Check

We're his hometown team

Check

We Need a LDE

Check

WE Have the money

Check.

This is a losing battle for Carolina, Hurney has no chance in **** of retaining CJ

Believe it or not many people don't care about 'hometown' teams, a lot of people care about their teams because they gave them a chance when the FALCONS didn't. And also money talks louder than 'winning' and we have MORE money than the Falcons/

UNless you're planning to throw 20 Mil at him we can match any offer Carolina can.

and also his family is from Georgia, why would he not want his family to be at his games.

New CBA requires owners to spend 90 percent of the cap in cash. We'eve always been big spenders we just didn't last year cause it WAS A LOCKOUT YEAR! why spend so much money when you don't know the outcome of the Lockout?

If he is more concenred with money than winning, then you are welcome to keep him.

Clearly it doesn't. Look at his tweets. He said he just wants to win. Not get paid.

Even ask Aso. He knows the Raiders would give him the farm to stay in Oakland but he wants to win. Period. Winning is more important. Ask those 0-16 Lions. They would have paid for a W.

Also, people do care about hometown teams. Dominique Foxworth went to the Ravens because it was home. Dunta Robinson came to Atlanta because it was home. You are just talking out your a$$ with these comments. It's ok. We know you don't want to see him go to a division rival if he leaves but keep it real
