atljbo
Naw.. I wouldnt sign Pope either.... If i was lookint at a UDFA... I would try to get Schuylar Oordt... A big athletic TE... You would need to stick him on the PS but dude have potential. If we are talking about a young TE in the league... I would say Dante Rosario

atljbo
I like Oort better than PalmerSome on here is higher on Palmer then i am.. I think the guy is a Justin Peele type TE... Thats not bad but i dont see dude as the future at the TE position... We are starting to use that Houston play... That takes an athletic TE.TD said this about Oordtlink"He's a big guy who's a good athlete," Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said. "He has some potential to play in this league. He can catch the ball well and has definite upside."He needs to continue to get bigger and stronger and continue to work on his blocking because in the National Football League as a tight end, you have to have a good combination of both blocking and pass receiving." In a year ill just let Palmer be my #2 (when Peele walk) ... ill let Schuylar Oordt stay on the PS for the yearThis is a short highlight video link
revenge
Jenkins loves blocking, lets make him a tight end

He would just be expendable.

Mid-Nite-Toker
I think the Falcons biggest targets in FA will be their own.But I suspect they will look at a DE and a corner, but not Aso. Somebody to play the nickel.Give Meier some TE reps. Cut Owens sign a FA NB/CB and hope Franks wins the job out right. I agree that our FA maybe the most coveted. Smiler11
That wouldn't be a bad way to train Sid, Kroy, and Cliff too. I have an unconventional mindset though and you know I want Gholston...just not happening. I hope the man gets a shot anywhere but in the NFC South. I think he may come out of his shell in a 4-3. I think he hit a block.I think we should take a look at Gholston - it would be a shot to nothing. I think as much as anything he needs a new start where he can abandon the tag of 6th overall pick. He's got a very similar make up to Abe.
Ga_spider
I don't think so, but can you imagine Pope being trained up by TonyG?Or Michael Phelps.

Panther Pride
Dante Rosario is a sleeper TERosario is most likely going to be resigned and we let King walk, Chud's offense uses TE's a lot so Rosario will be paired with Shockey.
