chadtm77
I saw this topic started over at 247 so I thought I would give it a try here. (its probably already been done but hey lets do it again) For me the most excited I have ever been was to my first game when I was a kid.. That was the first and always to be remember.. But the most electric, fun, and raucious game I have been to was the UGA/aub in 07.. The black out was absolutely nuts. The crowd was buzzing long before the game started about the black jerseys.. Then they came out to warm up in red and there was a slight sense of a let down.. But when they came out of the tunnel in the black that place went absolutely crazy.. The floor vibrated from the beginning to the end..It was great.. What is the most exciting game you have been to?
Volunteer Falcon
2002 UT and Arkansas, 6 overtimes that game was insane. Tennessee ended up winning 41 - 38.

tjb
For me it's a tossup between the Blackout and LSU in 2004.The blackout was fun, b/c there was just this anticipation in the air way before the game, you could feel it. When the players ran out in those Black Jerseys, holy cow that was awesome. The LSU game was probably the loudest for me, they were the defending Champs and beaten us 2x the year before. It was an absolute blowout from the first the kickoff. The players and the fans wanted that game BAD, and it showed. Plus, if memory serves correctly, that was the game where that dude caught the kickoff, took about 2 steps forward, and kneeled it. Not realizing he was about 1 yard outside the endzone. So, instead of a touchback and getting the ball at the 20, they got it at the 2. What a boneheaded play.

KeepItDownHomeCuz
My top three have to be 05 UGA, 10 UGA, and I believe it was 06 UF when Tre Smith recovered the blocked punt! All AWESOME games!!!!
NatesDawgs
Great thread!Any game in Sanford stadium is amazing. I wish I could say some great game in my youth, but I was in middle/high school during the Goff years, so... I loved watching Hearst/Zeier/Hastings, but no specific game sticks out.Honestly, I can't pick, so I have to go with 3 games and label them 1A, 1B and 1C.1A - Hobnail Boot - I was in the endzone right in front of Haynes when we shut Neyland down. When they hit that long screen play that place was loud as ****...but a couple Randy McMichael catches and P44 Haynes later, you could hear a pin drop. I was in the crowd that rushed the field the year before at Sanford, but this one was INCREDIBLE!1B - The Black Out - That Auburn game was insane. Loudest I've heard Sanford. The best was the look on the Auburn players faces when the 4th quarter started. They were still in the game [scorewise], but it was obvious what was about to happen!1C - SEC Champs - I was 2 the last time UGA was SEC champs, so being in the GA Dome for the 2002 Arkansas dismantling was something I'll never forget. crap sandwich
Everyone of you have picked some great games. I guess if I had to pick one, it would be the 1980 when we defeated Notre Dame for the National Championship. That one really puffed up my pride. crap sandwich
Like it when we beat Alabama at home in 1976 under Bear Bryant. Edited June 20, 2011 by crap sandwich
PIGismyhomeboy
For me it's tough to beat standing on the sideline against South Carolina 2 years ago with the goal line stand to save the victory for the Dawgs. Very exciting finish.
achilles return
1. 2005 UGA vs AU2. 2010 GSU vs ASU
Lennon
Well, most exciting may have been '07 blackout against Auburn, but man, I sure enjoyed going to Tempe in '08 and seeing the stadium half full of UGA fans all the way out in Arizona.. Still, I'd have to say my favorite game may have been in '02 when we beat Tech into the ground 51-7. It feels like tight ball games were always exciting for the dawgs up until these past couple of years, now they're just stressful (Tech game, ughhhh)
Threepac Daddy
well ive been to 3 gator games, 2 bowl games and a cup cake game during tebows senior season. the most exciting game i would say was the capital one bowl versus Michigan in Loyd Carr's last game. Got to see a good game and the end of an era for one school. its hard for me to go to most of the gator games since its almost an 9 hour drive, so i have usually get tix when they play some cup cake school.
