Dago
http://blogs.nfl.com/2011/06/15/data-points-long-drives-will-become-crucial/?module=HP_spotlightYesterday we looked at some of the greatest return men in the history of the game. Devin Hester was at the top of the list in regards to overall return touchdowns, but there is some concern that his game could effectively be neutered with the rule changes regarding kickoffs. This season, kickers will be booting the ball from the 35-yard line, five yards up from the previous spot. Considering the strength of some of the kickoff specialists these days, a lot of teams this season will be starting off from their own 20 -– at best. With that in mind, the clubs that will have the most success are those that can sustain longer drives. Listed below is the number of 10-play drives every team was able to manufacture in 2010. Not surprisingly, the Colts led the NFL in this suddenly more relevant category. pencilpusher. just because
I thought the new touchback spot was the 25. Not really that much of a difference.
Falcons 'til Death
They left at the 20. Didn't they used to kick of at the 40?You are going to see alot of pop ups trying to pin the other team deep.It may be interesting to watch how it develops, but who know they may all just be starting at the 20They used to kick off at the 35, and touch backs are now at the 25. Guest jb aka johnnybuc
Top 4 ofIndy.New OrleansAtlanta DallasI can see Atlanta seeing as they've been such a ground based attack recently but I was really surprised to see Indy and New Orleans as #1 & #2 seeing as they're both such high powered passing offenses.Very Interesting.......... Guest jb aka johnnybuc
I think if you compared this analysis to the number of 20+ yard plays by team, it would probably make more sense. Indy and New Orleans have high powered passing attacks, but it's all about getting first downs...that only takes 10 yards to accomplishWow......I didn't know that! Can you imagine over 50 years of watching college & professional football and I didn't KNOW it takes 10 yards to gain a first down? Thank GOD you're here to illuminate the game for us! WHATTA GUY! Guest jb aka johnnybuc
There you go, once again taking a thread down to your lame level. Sad. I wasn't implying that anyone didn't know that it takes 10 yards for a first down. Just because YOU insult everyone every chance you get doesn't mean everyone else does.EVERYONE??????? Really?????? Quit acting like some poor, put upon lonely little child. You made a somewhat obvious statement and got called on it. You can't handle it? I suggest you head back to TATF where I'm sure you're appreciated for your vast knowledge of the game.

Interesting, but not surprising considering how up & down Cutler is.
