Falconsfan567
I'm starting to get worried about Kimbrel. His fastball doesn't have the same life to it the last couple of times out.
Chili Dog
I'm starting to get worried about Kimbrel. His fastball doesn't have the same life to it the last couple of times out.Rookie (somewhat), over use, pressure... it will add up. Give him some days off. He had no business in the game the other night in a non save situation.
ATL Fan in the DMV
His velocity has been just a tad off, but his command has been worse. Once he straightens out his command, his overpowering stuff will be that much more lethal. However, it won't happen overnight.

Bourn should not have been able to foul off that many pitches.
Adkins
I heard Jurrjens make the comment one time that the more you try to force that fastball, the straighter and flatter it becomes. He said that staying relaxed and not forcing it was one of the biggest things that he had to learn in the pros. I would not be surprised if that's what we're seeing from Kimbrel as he's pushing himself because of the blown saves and what not.
