FalconofShadows
Okay lets say that the players and owners reach a deal and they use the 4 years in league to be a UFA style instead of the 6 years. that would make Clabo Dahl and Blalock all UFA. who do you think we resign not just who you want us to resign. falconmaniac
I voted Clabo but we need to bring them all back
Tribal Chief
I think Clabo and Blalock will fit the budget. Dahl may try to break the bank. We wont be able to keep all
FalconState
I wish we could keep them all but if i have to pick one it would be Clabo
abcranford2
i think we get clabo and blalock...blalock shouldn't cost too much, and dahl is way overrated and won't be worth the money he is trying to get

We wont be able to keep allIf Dahl wants to break a bank then let him do it else where. His is a decent player but tends to get beaten when it counts.Slide Clabo to RG where he belongs and enter the era of Reynolds at RT. Reynolds will take over Clabo's spot and Valdez will take over Dahl's spot. There will be a concerted effort to resign Blalock.

There will be a concerted effort to resign Blalock. That's exactly what I was thinking. We are staked with the depth to handle the right side. We have to keep Blalock if we plan on keeping Baker on the right side.He is pretty much the safety net of our left side when Baker has lapses in his play. Maxman
Our O-line is always dogged on this Board and seldom get the respect they deserve. If Clabo gets to test the free market, he's probably gone as the Falcons may not want to pay Tyson what others will. Look for Will Svitek to move to right tackle and for Garrett Reynolds to start suiting up as the swing tackle.Guards are demanding more money because their position has been inflated by a few guys who have received the franchise tag. The O-line is considered a position as a group and, as a result, guards or centers that receive the franchise tag get the average of the top four left tackles, who are the highest paid. Other teams like Blalock alot! Unless the Falcons pay similar money he may be gone. Our best chance of re-signing any of them, is Harvey Dahl, but that's why the Falcons dreafted Johnson and Hawley a year ago. They might also go after Quinn O'juinaka, who was on the team a year ago and played both guard and tackle before being traded to New England. Quinn would also be a free agent and still lives in ATL.As great as it is to see Mr. Blank sign Julio Jones, it would really be great to see him open up the check book to conitnue keeping this good, young (except for Todd) line together, just as they are about to blossom.
