Zodiac
I'd move Jennings to the 8th spot, move Marshall out of the list, move Bowe into Marshall's spot, bump welker into the 5 hole.and move Brandon Lloyd into the 6th spot.

Shredman
come on guys , its an IMO thing....Van is entitled to hisas you see i have neither Austin or DJack in My top 10Its pretty Clear the top 4 or 5 guys are pretty ClearVan put V Jackson in his top 5and he may be onto something, Just with the time he missed last yr, i put him at 10I think we all agree A Johnson is the WR in the NFL
strat1080
I'm not saying desean Jackson is not a threat. He is one dimensional, the guy don't go over the middle he's not built for it. The guy gets alligator arms and always seems to get lit up when he does. That is not a complete wide out. NFC east football is the best brand of football in the NFL and I watch plenty of it.I have to agree about Desean Jackson. He isn't a complete WR. He gets rattled easily and is very inconistent. He gets all of his yardage from big plays. He is similar to Jennings but Jennings is a more complete WR. I think Austin is a more complete WR than Jackson. Jackson is probably more dangerous but Austin is more complete. Of course you're arguing with a guy that says Jennings should be #8 and Marshall should be completely off the list. I don't think he watches football. Jennings is #4 in receiving yards and TDs in the last 4 years and has more 40+ yard plays than any other WR since he's been in the NFL. He is every bit the big play guy that Jackson is but he is more complete. He doesn't just get deep and catch long passes. He moves the chains as well. It is criminal how Jennings continues to get no respect. Any list that doesn't have Jennings in the Top 5-6 is simply an invalid list made by a guy that doesn't know squat about football. strat1080
AJFitzRoddyJulio Jones :P CJWayneWallaceVJJenningsColstonDeaseanHappy Vanilla Ice?EDIT: Mike Williams almost made it into my top ten believe it or not. Austin would be right after him...IMOThat's a pretty bad list. What have VJ and Wallace done that Jennings hasn't? Look up the numbers. There aren't 4 WRs better than Jennings over the last 4 years. Jennings has more catches of 40+ yards than any other WR since he's been in the NFL. The guy went over 100 yards against the Falcons in both games last year. Grimes and Robinson had no answer for Jennings. He was wide open all game long in the divisional game. Do you watch football?I think AJ, Fitz, and CJ are the Top 3 WRs. Then you have the next tier which has White, Jennings, and Wayne. This is my elite group. Come on, VJ and Wallace over Jennings? You've gotta be kidding me. Wallace is a nice player and could eventually surpass Jennings but Jennings has been putting up big numbers for 4 straight years. One good year doesn't make a career. VJ is so valuable that the Chargers don't even care about resigning him. Rivers threw for 4700 yards despite VJ missing like half the year. He is completely replacable in the Chargers offense. They did just fine without him. A guy can't be a Top 10 WR if his offense functions perfectly fine without him. You don't know squat about football dude. Desean is not in my top 10, and if he is, he's number 10.
pencilpusher. just because
Well if YOU do, it is obviously only watching the Cowboys and only when they are on offense  The WHOLE REASON I am confident saying Desean is better than Austin is BECAUSE I DO watch football! Hike up your skirt and stop bein such a homer I challenge all non-Cowboy homers to tell me who they are more afraid of with the ball in their hands, Miles Austin or Desean Jackson? So you are saying we should judge receivers while we are watching their teams on defense. Yea, you know you some football for sure.
pencilpusher. just because
But yea, we can compare the last three years if you wish.. In 25 starts Austin has 168 receptions 2,639 yards 21 TDs and 3 fumbles. Jackson , in 44 games started has 172 receptions, 3135 yards 17 td's and 11 fumbles. So in 19 more starts Jackson has 4 more receptions, about 500 more yards and 3 less TD's. oh and 8 more fumbles at least one of which was showboating at the goal line. Yep, I pick Austin and in the last two years only Wes Welker and Miles Austin have had 1000 YAC .

pencilpusher. just because
I thought this thread was started as "IMO" (Shred). If we wanted to look at the stats and rank the WR's, couldn't we just go to NFL.COM and do some copy and paste shyt? That's pretty much what pp and strat did... If you don't like my opinion, ignore my posts and GFY.yea, god forbid someone should mention receptions, td's and yards when comparing receivers. And if you remember correctly, it was YOU jumping on VAns opinion that caused Shred to correct you. But now the acual play( stats) prove you wrong and now it's " come on guys, it's supposed to be opinion!" No wonder no one here takes you seriously. Let me guess, Grimes jumped so high he went through the hole in the roof on that play! I think he actually jumped into Dallas' big screen and was knocked unconscious on that play. You know, the big screen that eeryone was going to be hitting every game.
