SaintsH8
Support my son until we play the saints... he would know the reason why by that time.
TallDrink26
what a vicious question. I imagine I root for both with a passion and if and when they play each other, well I guess I root( I cant bring myself to finish the rest of this sentence) but Im not even sure, it just seems so awful. Maybe meeting some of his teammates and I come to realize they are humans and not complete swine then it would make it easier. If he lost I would still be happy, I know that.Edit: more I think bout it, I root for him to play well but for Falcons to win and it its playoffs well I prob vomit profusely and never make it to the game anyway Edited June 3, 2011 by TallDrink26
HouseofEuphoria
Pull an 'Eli Manning' and refuse to go play for them, forcing a trade.

dyoshot
I would have to say root for my son but not his team. I could never root for the Saints.Exactly. If he's a RB I would root for him to have 200 yard games, become a FA, and sign elsewhere.

AngryPez
What would I do? It's more about what he would do. Covertly, he would work to completely undermine the Saints organization. He hates them even more than I do.
Lou_Dog
I would hope that he had the best statistical season ever for his position but still went 0-16 because the rest of the team sucked
g-dawg
if you don't have kids yet or don't have a son - you will not be able to relate to this question.Ultimately "blood is thicker than fandom". You would still root for the Falcons most of the time but you would also root for the Saints - and probably a little more - if being honest. Those words are painful coming out of my mouth.I've got two boys (ages 10 & 3) and there is nothing I would not do for them - even, perish the thought, root for the dreaded freakin' Saints. No worries though, they are into Karate and I don't think either will be a professional football player.GO FALCONS!!! youngbloodz
That is tough. But I would root for my son and his team. Even when they play the Falcons I would root for him. Now if my son went to FSU or UF I would disown him until he leaves said schools

ray6072
agree with the guy who said a lot of people wouldn't get this question if they didn't have a son....I dislike the falcons with a passion but if my lil boy played for them, they'd become my fave team as long as he was there, no questions asked...i'd support him unconditionally. funder02
I have a 14 month old daughter and I know how much I love her and I assume I would feel the same way about my son. So I.would have to be a gay aints fan until he either left or retired. But if it was a cousin or a nephew, I would root for the falcons to crush him.
