AtlantaFanatic
We all know that injuries happen in the NFL, so if this season we lost ONE of our pro-bowl, big name, guys to injury, who could we lose and still have a great shot at a superbowl and why do you think that way?I would say Turner:Although he is one of the best backs in the league, I think that if he went down, we would still have a bruiser in snelling who can catch out of the backfield and Rodgers who will make people miss and can catch passes as well. Don't get me wrong, Im not saying that Snelling is as good as Turner or anything, im just saying we could still make a superbowl run with a Snelling/Rodgers combo in the backfield. We can only hope the same doesn't happen with Ryan. Like I have said, last year was the best year in a while that the Falcons could win the Superbowl as we didn't have many key injuries. It was great not having those injuries last year but im optimistic that we can avoid them again.
triggerman
ryan curls up like a fried shrimp when the pocket collapses. he aint tough like freeman, flakko, eli, rivers, sanchez, etc. He folds like a cheap beach chair.
BCEagleATLFalcon
As much as I love him, I'm going with Gonzo. Had he decided to retire, I would have still believed we had an excellent chance at a Superbowl. That being said, I really hope we can get that poor guy a ring!!! A QB has to understand risk/reward scenarios - the ones who don't are the ones with the shredded ACLs alluded to earlier.PS - check to see if your keyboard has a SHIFT key. And he popped right back up.
1989Fan
Gonzo now that we have JJ. If he goes down there is still a deep 4 WR set to deploy.Plus, who knows how much Palmer could improve, and Peele is good enough.
