Aqib Talib indicted

Recommended Posts

Grand Jury indictments typically means law enforcement lacks enough evidence for the state attorney's office to proceed with prosecution....no credible witnesses..etc... Barry Bonds case is a prime example.

Fker is toast .......enjoy defending Julio and Roddy without him ...we beat you twice next year AGAIN ...........

Talib will not be around regardless the outcome because he'll have the big right hand of Goodell fall on him. It was be extremely tough for the buccies to cover us before, now almost impossible!

I imagine he will get 4 games, based on the fact that he will plea to a misdemeanor... or maybe even take it to court and be found innocent. (In which case he gets nothing)

No matter what Goodell decides for a suspension, there are alot of NFLPA lawyers who will fight the fact that the personal conduct policy is still in affect during a lockout.

Billings is Aqib's sister's (Saran) boyfriend.

He's been arrested a couple times for "domestic disturbance" while living with her.

The rumor is, this time she called Aqib instead of the cops, who came over and had this issue while defending his sister.

SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THE SISTERS BOYFRIEND, WAS ASKING

FOR IT. BUT THESE THINGS CAN QUICKLY GET OUT OF HAND.

THE SISTER NEEDS TO DUMP THIS GUY. END OF STORY.

That's the irony of women. They never dump the loser that's bad for them. They keep on holding on. I've responded to DV's where the female looks like she went 5 rounds with Clubber Lang, yet they don't want to press charges.

If the NFLPA lawyers got involved and the NFL was unable to discipline players because there wasn't a CBA at the time. I would have to imagine the Bucs would suspend him themselves, if they keep him.

I HAVE NEVER UNDERSTOOD THIS. THE MORE THE GUY

BEATS'EM UP ... THE MORE THEY LOVE HIM.

Even if he was found innocent it still is against the league's COC policy. He will get time from Goodell. See Big Ben's case...

yea, he will get suspended for a yr unless he serves a yr, then he will get 4 games like Vick did.

I dont think we will see him on the field for anyone in 2011

I note the RATING SYSTEM is back in full force in Rivals again :rolleyes:

Can we lose the + and - addiction in Rivals and let it play out in TATF? This forum was not a popularity contest until very recently.

I'm sure "Ron Burgundy" wouldn't mind this, seeing as how SOMEONE is working overtime negging every single post of his...

But that's typical RC hypocrisy

I can't tell you, because JB wouldn't answer my question.

I'll put it out there for the other RCers...

If Talib plea bargains the charges down, should he face discipline from the NFL/Bucs?

Of course. A plea bargain is an admission of guilt to a charge, lesser as it may be. If one is guilty, one should be disciplined.

The only things that should not be disciplined are an aquittal or a "not guilty" verdict.

It must suck to be a Skins fan these days, I can't remember the last time they didn't finish in the NFCE cellar.

No $hit! Can you imagine having a dikkhead like Synder as the owner of your team? No wonder WFW's now a Falcons fan!laugh.gif
