Nick Flair
This is one huge mess. I think if USCw got it like they did, tOSU maybe getting something worse.
SacFalcFan
when the compliance officer is in on the cheating as it seems he is at ohio state you have a very very dirty program. ohio state should be hammered worst than usc.

DawgBone
When the **** is Tressel getting fired?! This is ridiculous.
ChuyDawg
tOSU is the main school in the Big 10, they're also the only team that's worth a da*n in that regional area. tOSU also makes a zhit ton of money. I can't wait to see how creative the NCAA gets with this ruling. I thought the SCam ruling was brilliant, my bet is that they will come up with something better when it comes to the tOSU ruling. South FL Dawg
Compliance officer at OSU is an obvious example of form over substance. He wasn't telling Tressel what to do; he was just reacting to clean up whatever tracks he could.Well, really it's kind of silly to think a lowly compliance guy is going to tell the $3MM coach how to operate....especially when that coach can fire the university president. Put people in positions of such power and watch this happen over and over.Tressel has surprised though in what he hasn't done which is not admit wrongdoing. After the book he wrote I'm sure reality stings, but that's so small of him.

Will be a doozy if they try for sure.

youngbloodz
I'm not shocked. I told people over 3 months ago this goes on at almost every big time school. People thought I was just talking. But I get all my info from players I know at these schools
QCDawg
Are they just talking about a few k off the retail price of the car for granma, or is there a booster making the payment? If it's just a good deal for granma with no outside money, and the kid claims he didn't know granma got a super deal cause he didn't know what the real price is as he's only a kid, wouldn't the cecil rule be applied? It's complete bs, but... I mean stealerships will charge you whatever they can get away with, so the price is very negotiable. Granma could just drive a hard bargain. Now if the dealership was taking a loss on the sale, that's different.
