THE ICEMAN
There was an article online that stated the Falcons may be the Favorites to sign Chad Ochocinco http://network.yardbarker.com/nfl/article_external/atlanta_falcons_the_favorite_to_sign_chad_ochocinco/4746092So I though about it and if there were to really sign a WR who would they sign? I don't think they would Pay Sidney Rice huge money after getting Julio Jones and they recently extended Micheal Jenkins contract as well and to have a little fun I picked these three guys as there all in search of that first ring with TO and Moss coming very close before. And they all would probably get a 1 year deals as they could cut or release if they started being the "Diva's" they are so which would you sign Moss,TO or Ochocinco so lets look at there production as see what they could add at these stages of there Career's and in my Opinion there is one pretty good fit and the guy would be highly motivated to be back on a wining team.Terrell Ownes - 72 Catches 983 Yards 9 TDs - If your looking for a one or two type WR then Owens is your guy he's still pretty productive and is the best out of the three guys right now but remember the Falcons don't need a number one or two but if he came here they could find a fit he love to run block still goes over the middle and does all the dirty work just likes to talk a little to much but has been much better the past two years with the Bills and Bengales and could be a worth a try on a one year dealChad Ochocinco - 61 Catches 831 Yards 4 TDs - Out of the three guy he probably has the most high risk and high reward as he is only 33 and still could be a solid number two tpye of WR like a better version of Donald driver but the only thing I would worry about is out of the three guys he's been the biggest detraction over the last three seasons maybe thats just because he wanted out of Cincinnati the last three season but when he ran the wrong routes or just gives up on plays thats what worries me the most like most of Plamer's picks were his fault but Chad did run very poor routes or the wrong ones and caused some of the turn overs but he knows the plays and on top of that he once was viewed one of the best route runners in the NFL so take that for what it is(Just didn't want to be there in my opinion). But I just think he would be the worst fit and simply wouldn't get the ball enough and could be the 4th option behind Roddy,Julio and Tony Gonzalez I don't think that would sit well with him being the 4th option So noway I see this happening.Randy Moss - Catches Yards TDs - Randy has been a detraction off the field but not to the effect of the other two guys and now more than most he just really wants to be on a winning team and would be the best fit for the Falcons. But he's not a number one any more but could be that third guy and has been great with young players and read coverages know how to make in game adjustments and stuff like that and even at 34 I still believe could have his way with any teams 2nd or 3rd best CB he'd be asked to run deep routes in the slot and thats what he's best at so I think he would be the best fit and simply I trust him more than the other two guys to day in and day out put in the work necessary to be successful. And was having a solid season in NE and would have been around 800-1000 yard and 10TDs or so so he can still play. What it would mean if we signed any of these guys?[/b] - It would also mean the Falcons would probably have to let Micheal Jenkins go simply because you don't want to pay a guy like Jenkins starter money to be the 4th or 5th option and Jenkins has been a pretty good guy on and Off the field so the Falcons would let him go were he could go start for another team. I do think they would try to trade him first he not a number one but in the right situation is a 70 catch 800 yard guy. A good fit would be a teams like the Lions or Buc's were he could be the 2nd or 3rd option. But it would basically mean who would you want out of any of these three guys over Jenkins? Me I think Moss would be the only guy I'd want over Jenkins and its pretty close because Moss had a pretty bad year last year and you have to ask what does he have left at 34. But Coaches he played for have stated hes great with young guys and you put him with a guy like Julio Jones who has all the Talent in the world and maybe 2-3 years from now we have the best WR in football in Jones but its kind of what Joe Horn did for Roddy White but I think Moss would be great in the Redzone and in the slot on 3rd downs just what we needBut on another WR I think they'd look for a guy like Lance Moore before they signed any of these three guys or find some like Lance Moore who could fit slot spot. But I'd say they probably won't anybody if they still believe in Harry Douglas

JOEinPHX
With Gonzalez, White and Jones already on the field, it's hard to believe any of those guys could contribute significantly more than Jenkins, if that much. Weighed against the negatives of bringing any of them into the locker room, all these Sign Receiver X threads look a little silly. miKevicK777
if i was very open minded and had to choose, id go with ochocinco cause hes the youngest and hes got something to prove. Unlike the other two, ochocino is not going down as one of the all time greats. He knows inorder for him to be remembered, he still has alot of work to do. And hes a loud mouth, but hes not nearly as negative in attitude like moss and TO have been before in their careers at times.
Farmer2
I'll go with none of the above. None of them are going to want to be a 3rd WR and we don't need morons impacting out rookie.
Shuswap
Julio JonesThanks Borat WTF did wee give all those draft picks up for? A young physical fast WR not a washed out loud mouth that's 37. Stinko really wants to be our fourth receiver?

paulitik
I'd much rather sign Ricardo Lockette as an UDFA and let him compete with HD for the Slot Receiver job than any of those distractions.
Captain Falcon
I'm usually one of those sign everybody type of guys, but heck no, I don't want any of them. I feel like no team outside of New England stands a chance at winning a superbowl with them on their roster.

Sheldon Cooper
Everything i hear suggests they expect Julio Jones to start from day one. I dont understand the idea that we would want a veteran to ease Jones into the NFL. Micheal Crabtree held out into the regular season and he looked good. I think Jones is way better than Crabtree. I actually like Micheal Jenkins better than Moss, Owens, or Johnson. I think Jones starts over Jenkins from day one, and I think he would over any of those other guys too. We have 6 WR's on the roster. I think it is more likely that we subtract one rather than adding one.
THE ICEMAN
Listen guys I don't think they'll sign any of these guys and they don't need any of them either there was just an article on Chad Ochcocinco why he might land here with the Falcons and I though it we be fun to see who would be best fit and if some how they chose to sign a FA WR if you had to pick one who would it be? If they sign a FA WR it'll be someone more like Lance Moore and None of those guys but remember Micheal Jenkins is always getting injured or just playing inconsistent why do you think they draft Julio Jones they may look to replace him at the slot to with someone like Lance Moore Steve Smith - of the GaintsLance Moore James JonesJacoby JonesAntonio Bryant Zack MillerWould be some of the guys they would sign if they decide to move or cut Micheal Jenkins but I think Jenkins gets one more year though but he needs to stay Healthy and play consistent. He a solid player thats good at other times but really has just been a tease to Falcon fans the guy has the Talent to be a 1000 yard WR every year but just can't for what ever reasons he's do 3.5 mil for 2011 thats a lot for a guy who not going to start but he's worth it if the Falcons throw the ball 40 + times but if its the Tuner show again then they need to cut ties with him and spend the money on the D like getting Ray Edwards and Nnamdi
Banned
Signing any of these three WR's is would be relative to building a home you have worked so hard to make (Falcons Franchise) and then setting that home on fire.

Weighed against the negatives of bringing any of them into the locker room, all these Sign Receiver X threads look a little silly. While I would not what to sign any of them I really hope in your wildest imagination you don't really think a rookie WR that just NOW has been released to TEST his foot would be better then an experienced Veteran WR. Remember to read the TEST his foot which means we really don't know how it will actually be.
rugger8
a) What is this: 2005?b ) Why do people think we can have an offense on the field consisting of 1 QB and 10 WR's? It ain't happenin.
JOKER2
I'd say none of them for the headaches or the $. I'd rather let Harry Douglas, Jenkins, Weems or Kerry Meier have a shot at #3 WR and use the $ and the roster spot to grab a FA DE/LB to help solidify our front 7.I think Matt and Roddy and co. are going to put up plenty of points with what we've got onboard. Adding Julio and Jacquizz will take some heat off Tony G and Turner. We have to be able to stop offenses like Green Bay and New Orleans if we are going to keep getting better. TheTourettesGuy
I don't think any of those guys would even CONSIDER being the 3rd or 4th receiving option (counting tony g). It'd be better to just let one of our younger WRs take that role and try to develop.

Game Blouses™
well none of the above would fit what we want... we need a team guy who play in the slot for us and play on special teams. I really like lance moore i think he would b a great addition... remember what he did to us in week 3, if it wasn't for him we would had beat NO by
