sharky
I mean, what will we do if Dunta continue to have the problems he had last year. Even though he was new to the system, I still thought he would do a lot better. Will this be the year for him to show us why he got paid all that money? And if not, do you continue to let him start if someone is playing a lot better? And if so, who will you make the starter? These are the two potential candidates I have in mind. Franks or Owens? I really like Franks' ability.

Izo#2883
I am not a big fan of Owens, and quite frankly I dont know a whole lot about Franks to comment on his ability. If Dunta however does not play better than the beforementioned, he moves down the chart, or adjust how you play him on D.

metatron360
People are just upset about all the real trolls on these boards. But seriously dunta wasn't tested alot last year grimes was targeted most in the league. When teams are scared of you that part of the field is shutdown. kschreck
You're a negative troll, AND an idiot? Sad.Unless we've redefined the word troll I disagree that sharky's a troll. Although everyone may not always agree with his opinion, I don't question whether he's a Falcon's fan or not. Some of these guys just see more of a negative spin on things. Guest mashburn
Dunta sent Grimes to the pro bowl.you are 100% correct. how many QB's were scared to throw to robinson? robinson got trsted in the last game for us. but owens stepped in, and jacked our game up a lot. I want owens gone so bad. owens drew so many penalties and could not play his position (which was preety much ZONE)
UptownHardHitta
I dont have any proof, but I dont think many decent qbs are afraid of Robinson.

Man, the name calling that goes on this board is incredible. kevykev or what ever you call yourself, I knew one person that was like you but she was a female. What are you, you may be related. I really like Franks' ability.+2He is just not a good corner. What kind of corner gets paid that kind of money and can only play on the right side of the defense?BTW... As for Grimes being thrown at a lot?Yeah... He plays the left side of the defense which is where most teams' #1 WR usually lines up (thanks a lot dunta). Most teams throw to their number one reciever the most. So if you want to credit dunta for Grimes getting more passes thrown his way, I would submit that it has more to do with dunta's refusal to cover the number 1's in this league as opposed to his ability to "shut down" any particular side of the field. Izo#2883
When opponents did go after Robinson, imho he was less than convincing. I think this thread cover that concern and as such isnt stupid, nor does it make the OP a troll. There is no doubt he is better than Houston, but then again, few Are'nt.On the other hand, this thread reveals a flaw in some posters ability to refrain from namecalling or otherwise derogatory expressions. I graded your post incorrectly the first time.Let's let dunta play corner on the left side of the defense...Then come back and give me a dissertation about how many times he was thrown at. Sheldon Cooper
I was very happy with Robinsons season. He was a major upgrade over Houston. I believe Dunta did have an affect on Grimes in 2010. Grimes improved by leaps and bounds from 09 to 2010. I just hope Owens improves enough to replace Brian Williams.
THE ICEMAN
They really didn't throw Dunta's way much as they really picked on Grimes and Grimes 87 tackles shows that Danta made the Secondary from bad to solid now if we had a good NB then it would be a good secondary but he really made the Secondary better and helped us to a 13-3 record plus if he was that bad don't you think Aaron Rodgers would have gone after him no he went to the weak link and that was the NB spot and ya he wasn't great but he was good and if he can get just a little better then he'll be just what the Falcons wanted
Tribal Chief
The man had to adjust to a whole new scheme altogether. He went from playing straight man to zone. There was nothing wrong with his production. Grimes lead in INT and made the pro bowl but was outplayed just as much as Dunta. But yet Grimes gets the highest praise. atljbo
Dunta didnt play bad last year... I do think he was adjusting to our scheme last year and will be better and more aggressive this year... But he wasnt close to being one of our problems last year.I get that some fans wanted the man to come in beast mode because of his contract... But he did play good last year.. Ido think he will be better this year since he will feel more comfortable.
GuerillaOntology
I don't understand the Owens hate. He made a few errors in the Green Bay game and suddenly he had a horrible season and is a bust.Since when did players become judged so quickly?Cheers,GO
