bird-dog
May 14, 2011 8:53 p.m. - Free agent LB targets: Stephen Nicholas. Nicholas has shown interest in Detroit this offseason, and he covers the strong side well. He’s not a star, but he’s an improvement over Detroit’s current LBs. A negotiating advantage for Detroit is their ability to offer Nicholas something Atlanta, his current club, hasn’t: A guaranteed starting job. The Falcon Jedi Knight
Detroit = Falcons North. They always seem to grab up all of our former players.
FlyHighFalcons
Imagine if Detroit bit the bullet and spent their money on Nicholas and Nnamdi. Oh man that defense is insane.Vandenbosch-Williams-Suh-Avril in the front four (Fairley off the bench for a mean front four rotation).Nicholas-Levy-Johnson/PalmerNnamdi-Vasher-Crisp(ruins everything).Delmas-Brown. FlyHighFalcons
Left out FollettYea, I didn't include injured players because they don't show up on ESPN's depth chart and I don't really know their defense that well.
THE ICEMAN
ya I heard he gone because he's likely to get starter money and if that is the case then ya he gone

Capitalist
Detroit is snapping alot of our recyclables up... They may be 8-8 this season...
THE ICEMAN
I think they could go 10-6 if Stadford stays healthy
1989Fan
the Lions are committed to building a sick defense.I agree they need to spend the money on Nnamdi. That defense could then keep them in a lot of games.I just think Stafford (injuries) is gonna hold them back. They need a top tier backup...a borderline starter. I mean his last injury nobody even hit him. He got tripped and out for the season just from falling over.

FalconState
Hopefully Nicholas stays but we must be really close with Detroit to give them all our former players but thats not a bad thing we never really play them
J-RoC770
Stafford gets injured we then get to see Stanton with more dougie moves! Edited May 18, 2011 by J-RoC770
EastCoastFalcon902
Nic is a good guy and rotational player. Love to keep him but if hes on his way out then thats good for him. The coaching staff must feel good with the depth we have

#1 pick
Bye Nic, we need Lawson and Nnamdi.
Banned
I'd be sad to see Nicholas go but he is not a must stay player. I like Akeem Dent because of his run stopping ability but it would be nice to put in Nicholas on those 3rd and long plays for coverage.
