kirbyr
Kind of disgusting that they need that many seatbelt extenders. I think it's time to start ridiculing morbidly obese people in public.
paulitik
I work at a large convention hotel, the thing that drives me nuts is the people that request scooters or wheelchairs because they are too fat to walk. Seriously.

Too fat to fly then drive,to fat to drive then walk. I hate nothing more than sitting on a six hour flight and some "large person" is taking up half of your seat as well. AngryPez
Personally, I would like to see airline "flag" oversize passengers and require them to make appropriate arrangements. Nothing is worse than being stuck on a coast to coast flight with half of a sweaty mass of human flesh oozing into your already cramped seat.If the flight has a "wide" seat to accommodate you, fine. Otherwise, buy two and sit in between them.I am not a stick figure but, even at 6'4" and 240, I take care of my needs without making other passengers miserable. I've never flown but I'd imagine it would be annoying to be cramped in next to some big dude.
Toronto_Dirty_Bird
This is truly sad. Truth be told, its a lot of the lifestyles that is contributing to this. People work long hours, travel all over the place, don't have a set schedule and just eat what they can, whenever they can. However, its still not an excuse, you need to watch what your putting in your body and at least attempt to exercise (using stairs instead of elevator), and the airlines should really flag people and charge them twice if they can comfortably fit in one seat. That will at least open some eyes up.

m cooper 22
It's disgraceful. Here in England we're starting to have the same problem. People are getting bigger and can't control themselves. I don't personally always eat the healthiest option, but I know to excercise, otherwise if I eat something with a lot of calories and fat, it's going to stick around. It isn't like it hits you as a surprise. One day you don't just wake up being 400lbs, it takes time to gain that much weight. What sickens me is, we are limited to how much luggage we can carry on, and have to pay extra $$ / ££ if we want extra luggage. Why should people pay more for luggage as 'the plane can only carry so much weight', and then people this big get on without extra charge. What happened to that weight limit all of a sudden? Edited May 10, 2011 by m cooper
Miller2Rison
i noticed this a few years ago, people would wait in long lines at the bank to go through the drive threw when there would be no body in the bank lobby, get ur fat lazy azz out of the car and walk.
