Would like to add DeAndre McDaniel, safety, Clemson to that list. Vidal Hazelton could be nice too, but we really don't need WRs now - could bring him in for camp and dump him if he doesn't perform, nothing to lose really.

There are also some nice running backs - Noel Devine, Derrick Locke - but again with us drafting 'Quizz Rodgers, not really any interest.

Tim Barnes, Center, Missouri and D-line Ryan Winterswyk from Boise.

I really would love to see Burney, Hurd and Lockette brought in. Don't know about Saunders--nice prospect, but serious character issues. The other guy i'd love to see us bring in is Mike McNeil, TE Nebraska. He's 6'4" 231 so his size is a concern, but he runs excellent routes and has soft hands. Be interesting to see if he could be an H-Back type.

Obviously, Herzlich would be awesome. But there must be some serious medical concerns that aren't being disclosed in the media, if not a single team spent even a 7th rounder for him. Considering that no team can even sign an UDFA, it makes you wonder if Herzlich is still ill or something.

I wouldn't be surprised if we did bring in a few WRs and just seriously open up the competition at that position. If you look at the spot, we have 1) White 2) Jones 3) Jenkins (i think we keep him--he's a perfect #3 type); but if you look beyond these guys who do we really have? Meir? Unproven player. HD? Again, an unproven player. Weems? Probably a roster spot just for return skills--but will they want to use him in the offense more? I don't see that, as he is so valuable for STs. If we carry 5 or 6 WRs. That means only 3 spots are pretty much locked up. I say bring in a Hazelton. Bring in a Lockette and open up those last 2 spots. If HD and Meir are the deal--they'll show up. If not, sayonara!

Running back is interesting. Do you bring in a Devine or a Locke? I'm not sure how many scat backs that we would like, but then again having explosive players is a nice luxury.

I'd bring Herzlich in...the guy is an amazing story and inspiration....he's only going to get healthier
