delaigle
What happened to Koenan? why did you replace him, he's not on the let go list but you get a new punter. WHY? Koenan is considered one of the best punters in the league. Whose going to kick off? Bryant?and Trey Lewis? he's not on the let go list but he's not on the roster either. NoMoreVick
Bowers isn't going to fall to 27. If he's there at 27, I will be beyond shocked. Overall, that's a solid draft. If we grab Bowers, it'd be huge, but I don't see it happening. We'll grab a solid DE at that spot, regardless. Actually, Bowers falling a little bit will be huge for us in the end, even if he won't be there even close to 27. It affects the other teams' picks, some going for defensive linemen themselves. etherdome
Koenen's greatest value rests on his ability to kick off. Now that the kick offs have been moved up, Bryant should be able to handle the chore.
*TMo*
I like it. I don't think those players will be available then but you never know.

lju713
Repalce Lawson with Thomas Howard. He is a 3-4 hydrid and a 4-3 college DE...he wouldnt fit our scheme as a LB

Now that the kick offs have been moved up, Bryant should be able to handle the chore. But he can still boom punts over 60 yards why replace him with another punter that kicks the same distance? He's considered one of the best punters because of his ability to place kicks to exact spots on the field. blackredfellow
Thats a he11 of a draft. I wouldnt want to get rid of Palmer just yet, he has lots of potential. Give him at least two seasons.Otherwise, I like it. As mentioned before, I dont think Bowers will be there at 10, let alone 27, but if he is, f*&K yea we need to draft him. I think Dowling is going to be a breast, as well as Little, and most people around here already know my stance on Devine. Koenan is considered one of the best punters in the league. Whose going to kick off? Bryant?and Trey Lewis? he's not on the let go list but he's not on the roster either.Koenen wasn't good at ALL last season. The only real value he has to the team at this point is as a kickoff specialist, but with the new rules his impact there will really have been lessened. There's a reason we signed Ken Parrish to compete with Koenen in camp, but I can also see us bringing in a rookie. I wouldn't necessarily DRAFT one, though... there will be plenty of solid punters we can bring in as UDFAs.As far as the mock draft goes, I really like it overall: my one sticking point is the Demarcus love pick because I don't like him at all and would much rather have someone like Jah Reid, Lee Ziemba or Willie Smith in that range. g-dawg
Koenan is overrated. I have it on good media authority that Dimitroff was not a fan of franchising Koenan in the past and does not like spending top dollar on punter.

I think there's about a 75% chance Koenen isn't with us this fall.
Big Bubba
Bowers is a weird one. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go in the top 10, or drop to the bottom of the first or possibly out of the first all together. His knee really is a concern for me, if I'm a GM with a pick in the first round.
phattywankenobi
TE is a much more immediate need in the near future than CB. Why would they let Palmer go when they have not had a chance to see what he can do? The biggest and most glaring thing is letting Nicholas go and not drafting an OLB at least by the 3rd. So that leaves Peterson and unproven scrubs to compete or fill in.I think this draft will go:1) DE2) WR or TE3)OLBthen leave the rest to BPA projects. Bowers is still recovering from his surgery. He is worth the risk IMO.
