muskokas finest ©
What a glory hound J.P Arencibia of the Jays is turning out to be. In his debut last summer, he slugs 2 home runs and a double, before finishing the season a sleepy 2 for 31. In his debut as the starting Catcher last night, he hit 2 HR's and added a triple for 5 RBI's.Jose Bautista took the first step in answering his doubters with a long HR. muskokas finest ©
Yunel Escobar wins it for the Jays with a walk-off 2 run homer. JoJo Reyes put Toronto in a big hole with a lousy performance, making him the likely cut when Brandon Morrow returns.Nobody is knocking Escobar this morning, but he did swing at the first pitch after leadoff man and stolen base threat, Rajai Davis, had opening the inning with a single. The reaction to Yunel might have been very different had he made a quick out and not given Davis a chance to advance.
