Gritzblitz 2.0
Who would have guessed VCU vs Butler would be a Final Four game this yearI wouldn't want to be Jay Bilas or Dicky V's dog today.VCU served a big gulp sized cup of STFU to the hacks in Bristol who wanted Virgina Tech or Colorado instead. crap sandwich
Boring game, like watching two queens fight over a Tiara. Fans were asleep with just polite applause. Two teams the are entitled I guess.Actually two queens might have been more exciting.Congratulations Kentucky. WTA
So awesome.13 years has been way too long. Earlier this season I posted on here that I absolutely hated this team. They had no heart, no balls, no will, no desire to play as a team. Not sure what created the change, but a few weeks ago our veterans - Miller, Liggins, and Harrelson - decided to grow some balls. They have been the difference. Their leadership along with the raw talent of Knight, Jones, and Lamb have put us here. When Kanter was deemed ineligible, I figured the Sweet Sixteen was our ceiling. Losing five first-rounders plus our top incoming recruit was a seemingly insurmountable hurdle. Then when we got our draw for the tournament I was ready for "wait-till-next-year" mode... But they fought through it. The Big Blue Revenge Tour continues. Next up, UCONN.Final Four, baby. Been way too long.So freaking awesome. SacFalcFan
Who would have guessed VCU vs Butler would be a Final Four game this yearno one could have and no one did. i love it however.. brackets busted everywhere..
gamecocknfire
no one could have and no one did. i love it however.. brackets busted everywhere..Actually out of the 5.9 million brackets entered on ESPN, 192 people had Butler/vcu and 2 people had the Final Four correct. :P 70.3% of brackets had zero final four teams correct. Been way too long.So freaking awesome.Congratulations, you can pinpoint better then me, but Kentucky heated up in the SEC tournament. They started to play better defense and the outside shots were falling. The bench was contributing and you could tell this was a team peaking.Watched Hubert Smith, Digger Phelps and Jay Bilas so defiantly say North Carolina was going to win the game. They also of course picked Kansas. Idiots.Good luck against UConn. Like you chances.
capologist
It shouldn't have even been close. We were in the middle of building a 15 point lead and the referees said to **** with that. It was absolutely ridiculous the amount of calls that Butler got in the last 6 minutes of that game. My hands are shaking I'm so pissed off.Yeah, I couldn't do anything but shake my head at some of the calls BUT, we had a chance to win at the end and took a dumb 3 point shot when we should have taken it to the hoop and got the 2 to win. Then again, we probably would have gotten called for an offensive foul so who knows. Great season, bad way to end...
