Gritzblitz 2.0
And he does it again in OT. Coming off of a timeout and down by just 1 a 35ft jumper was the best he could come up with? This hasn't been Donovan's best coaching job today. Guest whitestain
Congratulations to the Butler Referees on the win. Called such a great, even game until about the 6 minute mark when they decided it was time to let Butler back in. So sick to my stomach
Volunteer Falcon
Game in all likelihood shouldn't of even gone to OT.

What a terrible set of calls. And when will the players themselves learn that when you have the last shot, start the process of taking it with 8 or more seconds left? Guest whitestain
Game in all likelihood shouldn't of even gone to OT.It shouldn't have even been close. We were in the middle of building a 15 point lead and the referees said to **** with that. It was absolutely ridiculous the amount of calls that Butler got in the last 6 minutes of that game. My hands are shaking I'm so pissed off.
The Monarch
Well, that just about puts a fork in me. I now need Butler, Kansas, Kentucky and Arizona in the F4 with Butler beating Kentucky in the final game to win. Not likely.
SacFalcFan
What a great win for Butler. You go butler!!! I just love this team.. I hope they win it all.
Threepac Daddy
i didnt watch the game till the last 10 mins left in regulation, but the final 10 mins the refs were just awful. final 10 mins i think florida had around 10 fouls to butlers 2 or somewhere around that. florida doesnt foul a lot and when something like this happens i scratch my head at it. florida got frickin lazy the final 5 mins and in overtime. the coaches and the players acted like they're gods gift to basketball and they could just walk right in to the final four. the last 4? years donovan makes some of the dumbest calls i have ever seen and today was one of those days. also florida had the ball to win the game and what does that idiot do. tries to be lebron and goes for a 3pt shot when a fg would win it. try to pass the ball and see if you cant do a pick and roll to get someone open for a better shot instead of spending 30 seconds having a staring contest at another player. also the guy id freaking 0-7 on the day before that shot, the hot dog vendor and water boy has a better completion % on the day than him. attack, attack, attack thats how you win games not move around in a 3 yard halo. butler has an aggressive defense pass the ball around and do picks and screens to free open men. the final 5 mins sums up the season for me, they can play good but they get real lazy for long stretches of time. time for football

The game never should have got to overtime, but once it did we went full ******. I'm a lot less pissed now than I was because lets face it, this team was not even supposed to make it this far. The goal this year was the Sweet 16, and with early season losses to UCF and Jacksonville University it looked like it was going to spiral straight into the ground. But, the seniors really grew up a lot throughout the season and made a great run in the tournament. I'm already looking forward to next year. We lose Parsons, Tyus and Macklin but Murphy, Walker, and Boynton all return and not to mention Mike Rosario from Rutgers who will come in and get immediate playing time and the true freshman Beal. It was a great season and got Florida back to where they belong in basketball, you just hate to see it end the way it did with the referee intervention. Cable Guy
Wow, VCU is just draining 3's.
TroubleDawg
VCU came prepared and ready to play.Kansas didnt. Under Self, Kansas has been ill-prepared too many times in March.Other than 2008 ( I could have coached that team to a national title with 4 NBA first round draft picks), nobody has underachieved more than Kansas in March.Frankly, its flat out embarassing. Unknøwn
To be honest I thought Kansas would win by around 8-10 a comfortable margin but VCU is putting it on them we'll see if they can sustain it for another half
crap sandwich
This VCU is deep on the bench.Skeen is just dominating. Great so far at the half for VCU.

I was hoping the staff could bring them down to reality and realize they havent won the title yet, but I was expecting too much from Self. TroubleDawg
Good Job Self. Leave both Morris's on the bench along with Taylor. Thats been your offense in the second half.

crap sandwich
Who would have guessed VCU vs Butler would be a Final Four game this yearIMO, the exact reason to expand the field with more play-in games. VCU is a great example for my opinion.Outstanding job by VCU, Rodriguez and Skeen played amazing basketball.
