radio24
Buccaneers could be headed for Hard KnocksPosted by Gregg Rosenthal on March 21, 2011, 4:47 PM EDTRaheem Morris may not break out as many f-bombs as Rex Ryan, but he’s always entertaining in front of a microphone. And it looks like Morris could wind up wearing a microphone for much of the summer.Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com’s NFC South blog reports that the Bucs are the “leading candidate” to be featured on Hard Knocks this summer. There is one major obstacle in the way, of course. There may not be a training camp this summer. Unless HBO is interested in Hard Knocks: Lockout, the show may take a year off.It can often be difficult for NFL Films to get teams to agree to do the show, but Yasinskas says the Bucs and NFL Films have been engaged in talks to do the show. While nothing is final, that indicates a willingness by the Bucs to take the plunge.Doing the show would make sense for the Bucs. The team struggles to sell tickets and they have a very low profile nationally.A long work stoppage isn’t going to help the Bucs on either of fronts. Guest jb aka johnnybuc
I'm trying to decide whether I like this or not. On one hand it'd give us a real insight into how the team operates and just how intense Raheem can be along with his sense of humor. But, on the other hand it can be a real distraction, especially for such a young team. I hate REALITY TV and that's pretty much what this is. Big_L
I wouldn't want my team on that show. I'm glad the Saints org decided against it.

Regardless of what goes on off the field on sundays, Freeman comes to play. The only thing I would hate is I don't have HBO and will not upgrade my cable package just to get it.
