Snelling44 234
I missed this thread. Here's what I wrote in the other one...This is the list that I've put together so far this year. From my blogAtlanta Falcons(Intensly looking for another WR)- Marcus Gilbert - OT - Florida - Talked to- Anthony Castanzo - OT - Boston College - Talked to- Jalil Brown - CB - Colorado - Talked to- Leonard Hankerson - WR - Miami - Talked to- Casey Matthews - LB - Oregon - Talked to- Jordan Cameron - TE - USC - Talked to- Colin Kaepernick - QB - Nevada - Talked to- Titus Young - WR - Boise St. - Talked to- Ricardo Lockette - WR - Fort Valley St. - Combine Interview- Sam Acho - DE - Texas - Combine Interview- Allen Bailey - DE - Miami - Talked to, Combine Interview- Noel Devine - RB - West Virginia - Combine Interview- Edmond Gates - WR - Abilene-Christian - Combine InterviewBy "Talked to" that means either at the Senior Bowl or Shrine Game (mostly from draftcountdown.com and draftbreakdown.com). I got the "intensely looking for a WR" from an article tweet somewhere. All of these have sources. I'm sure if you we're to google their name and Atlanta Falcons you'll get some hits. Polar Bear Jones 105
You're welcome.I remember this.Rapid reportJan. 26, 2011 4:02 p.m. - In an interview on Sirius satellite radio, GM Thomas Dimitroff raved about Florida OL Marcus Gilbert. Gilbert can play both OG and OT at the next level. Three Falcons OL will be free agents this year (LG Justin Blalock, RG Harvey Dahl, RT Tyson Clabo). Falcons RapidReportsI am not sure if we interviewed or not cannot find a link to audio.
vel 32,056
I think most of the looking at OL is leverage for negotiations. It is like taking the stance of the OL being semi-expendable so they better not ask for ridiculous amounts. But if they do walk we would have done the due diligence to make sure we know who to take if we were to take one.
