At least we lost to the Superbowl winning team right...

Last time we went to the playoffs, we at least lost to the NFC Superbowl representative. This time we lost in the playoffs, we lost to the Superbowl winners. That's a remarkable improvement. Can't get too mad if the team that beats you wins the Superbowl right? A win is just a win but a loss can come in all different shades right?

Regardless, key things to note. Packers winning is proof that the NFL is turning into a pass first league. They beat us by passing. They beat the best defense in the NFL by passing.

The best thing for the Falcons would be to find an OC that knows how to pass and uses young guys and develops them. Let's see...

Who's Antonio Brown? A 6th round pick this year.

Who's Emmanuel Sanders? A 3rd round pick this year.

Although the Steelers were the losing team, they also passed to score. And these two players were impact players their first year in the league.

How come we don't even use Harry Douglas?

How come we can't throw pass the 5 yard line? The infamous seam pass to Donald Driver? develops in 2 seconds. Why can't we let Roddy get deep in 2 seconds?

It's ok, we like 1950s football.

What-evs dawg. Troy was barely there, too hindered to be anything but a sub-par safety. Harrison was for the most part shut down as well. I guess it can happen to any defense. It certainly happened to ours.

How long till the draft?

Packers this season showed passing wins the Superbowl. Who needs Ryan Grant when your QB can throw down the field and spread the ball around?

I feel no moral victory here, and somehow BVG still seems to be woefully inadequate. NFC number 1 Seed gets BLOWN OUT by the wildcard team on their home field due to fielding a High School defense and a coach that had NO IDEA how to stop them.

Yeah, and **** LeBeau held the Pack to under 10 points. It's be really surprising if the best defense in football getting showed out would give you the slightest bit of perspective.

no no no. we need to keep MM. a lot of you think we need to axe him because of the play off game. that was not his fault. the defense would not allow a punt. you people need to understand our defense is our achilles heel! Our offense will natural evolve to have more opportunities for the deep ball trust me. our front office and coaching staff will improve the defense and with that the offense gets a lot better!

I agree I'm getting tired of people saying that!

Same here. We got our teeth kicked in by the SB winner SFW.

It was a good game, but all I thought about was how the Falcons let this season get away.

Here's to the some one on our defense making paste out of Rodgers next year.

Two of the four games we lost were against conference champions. We beat one of them and nearly beat the other one.

We also lost to the defending champions but beat them as well.

PHI and GB were the only teams that handled us this season.

We are closer than the message board pundits think.

With a name like "Mr. Right" you can't blame him for thinking he knows all. He's just the kid that keeps the bar low around here. We are much closer than a lot of these folks give us credit for, and are lacking just a couple of key pieces.
