Wow man, I swear great minds think alike. I was about to make the EXACT changed.

I could understand if they put Brees over Ryan, but Blount over Turner?

Explanations here. I'm not surprised with Blount actually. He had a higher YPC, 4 more broken tackles (even though he had 133 less attempts) and more yards after contact per attempt than Turner (3.7 v 2.8). 73% of his yards came after contact whereas Turner had 69%.

I think the two aren't really comparable. Blount's carries number dramatically fewer than Turner's. Statistics are often skewed when the sample size is much smaller.

That doesn't help the fact Blount broke more tackles though, even with a significantly smaller workload :P He'll be a special one.

Looking over the raw stats, looks like they put Blount over Turner because of superior YPC/YAContact per Attempt/Missed Tackles/Greater % of YAContact.

Dahl over Evans because Dahl gave up 2/4/13 sack/hit/pressures whereas Evans gave up 5/4/12. Evans also had 11 penalties whereas Dahl had just the 4.

McCoy over Ellis because McCoy got 30 QB disruptions while Ellis got 22 (For comparisons sake, Babs had 33 total in 111 snaps more than McCoy). McCoy also had 4 passes defensed compared to Ellis' 2. All that in less than 132 snaps compared to Ellis.

Harper over Moore because Harper had 17 QB disruptions against Moore's 12. Moore also missed 3 more tackles. Harper had 40 stops/stuffs, Moore had 17. Harper only allowed a 56.4% completion rate into his area with an average gain of 8.1. Moore allowed 66.7% with average of 12.1. Harper didn't allow a TD and had 1 INT and 2 passes defensed. QBs had a rating of 57.5 when throwing into his area. Moore allowed 4 TDs but had 5 INTs and 3 passes defensed. However, he allowed a QB rating of 81.3.

And Barber over Talib was because he was the better overall corner. 13 QB disruptions v 0. He had 28 stuffs/stops to Talib's 9. He also allowed a lower % catch into his area and for a lower average. Barber allowed 3 TDs but got himself 3 INTs and 9 passes defensed, QB rating of 73.1 in his direction. Talib allowed 5 TDs but got himself 6 INTs and 7 passes defensed, QB rating of 75.6. Also, Talib was injured for 5.5 games but Barber managed the whole season. Just from these raw stats though, you can tell Talib is a big-time gambler.

TBH, there's not much I can see in the raw stats that would suggest having Colston over Williams.

That's about perfect except for one more change - Donald Penn is the most dominant lineman in the South. Might be one of the best LTs in the NFL. There's no way Gross is ahead of him.

Yall don't really believe Moore is better than Harper do yall?

Let me guess, yall came to this conclusion after one game?

Roman Harper is one of the best SS's in the NFL. One game doesn't change that.

Really ? Everytime I see a highlight with a player that played against the saints I could swear I see Roman harper somewhere getting run over or beat for a td..if I'm not mistaken the Falcons favor the match up tony vs Roman ....he's one of the most overrated safeties

So two games? Roman isn't the best coverage safety, I have no problem admitting that.

But he isn't asked to be one very often, he's more of a traditional SS who plays in the box to help the run, and he's one of the best at it.

So, by your own admission, Harper is limited.

Meanwhile, Willy Mo can do it all. He's a ballhawk with tremedous speed, but flat out destroys opponents when playing in run support.

Wait and see. You'll start hearing more and more about Moore (corny, I know :P ) in the coming future.
