Its Government Welfare Time!

Its that exciting time of the season where the stories of individuals (and families) paying little to no income tax begin to receive thousands of dollars. I already have a relative receiving $10,000 back who paid in a fraction of that in income taxes. God bless em all, I cant wait until I retire Civil Service and am able to stick my hand out too. Make sure all of you Government loving taxpayers keep paying your taxes so I can have a comfortable retirement, all on your dime. And dont give me any sob stories about how we dont have it anymore, it was promised to me and I want it.

God bless our government, all things to all people. Our founders would be so thrilled.

remember those Bush extra 400 dollar tax refund checks? Everybody sign in who returned theres because they don't take welfare.

I say if you cant beat em, join em. My goal in life has now become to bleed every drop of blood I can from this system before the next guy does. Its every man for himself. I suggest that anyone out there who isnt receiving some kind of government check isnt trying hard enough. Dont become a slacker, get whats coming to you.

So you want to become like pp?

I`m not sure what PP`s situation is but lets face the facts. Its over. Were toast. Theres too many of them to turn back the tide. Were a nation of entitled non producers with a government that has a broken business model. I have 0 confidence that this nation will ever turn things around. Get what you can while you can and run to the hills.

I'm not accusing you of anything. Well, maybe a hatred of vocabulary. But that;s it. Those old-timey liberal elitists the Founding Fathers would be so thrilled! ;)

And I'm not so much talking about stuff like being green, pro-labor, etc. I don't view those things as conflicting. That's just someone's point of view. It would only conflict if they were pro-life & pro-choice.

I'm talking about your sig. Viewing liberals as people who hate America all the while constantly criticizing America. My view is that you SHOULD criticize America. But I find it cute when you demonize other people for doing it.

I used to pretty outspoken about welfare for peope who did not need it. But since our government can find welfare to give to Banks, corporations and CEO's, I could not care less if a guy who refuses to work gets a couple a hundred a month. Just being honest.

people talk about Welfare and politics like it's libs against Conservatives, but the last true welfare reform was Bill Clintons " welfare to work" and in the many times repubs have had control, they never tried to reform it or stop giving it, so who cares?

Like I said, start with corporate welfare getting cut out and then I will start caring about other welfare.

That's kind of how I feel. With TRILLIONS of dollars being spent to prop up fat cats in the banking, energy, and defense industries, I really don't give a crap if some bums are using their welfare cards to go gambling in Atlantic City.

I'm just wondering. Who here is paying a greater percentage of their income in taxes than ever before?

I asked that in another thread because I am trying tosee if some on here are just pitying the super rich who are paying more.

I don't pity anyne in a higher tax bracket because if it was that bad, you can always drop down a bracket or two.

So in the end, being rich and paying more taxes >>>>>>>>>> being poor and paying none.

This is exactly how I feel. people defended CEO's using bail out money to buy planes and redecorate offices, but they are furious at a cat who blows 200 bucks on black jack.

Like Alan Keyes said, he remembers when no one could find money to prop up social security, and all of a sudden the pull trillions out of nowhere to save the banks. it's a ####ing shame people are so stupid not to see what really is going on.

But the rich are paying the lowest percentage of federal income tax in the history of the tax itself... Or in otherwords...WE'VE BECOME SOCIALIST!!!
