What's worse though, losing a heartbreaker at the buzzer or getting blown up?

In the playoffs? Definitely getting blown up.

Both hurt, but you can eventually come to terms with a buzzerbeater. Then some fans can make excuses and feel better (all organizations have some of those fans).

In this loss, we had bad play in all facets of the game except kickoff returns.

The ONLY good thing about this loss, as coach Smith said, is that the Falcons will grow and learn from this. He's right.

However, the fans learned something that's all too familiar; don't put too much hope in an Atlanta team.
