Not that it really matters ... The Falcons have more pro bowlers ... I would compare the teams positionally as follows ...

Corners ... GB

Safeties ... Atlanta

Linebackers ... Wash ... Mathews gets a lot of press but Lofton>Hawk. Mathews was shut down by Clabo.

DL ... Abe, Babs, and solid rotational bullpen>BJ

OL ... Atlanta

QB ... Wash

TE ... Atl

RB ... Atl ... Let's not forget about Snelling and Ovie.

WR ... GB but because of their third and fourth receivers ...

ST ... Atl ... Not even close

QB: GB- Rodgers has done more with less talent and less time.

RB: ATL- Not even close. No need for explanation.

WR: GB- Deeper receiving core.

OL: ATL- Same as RB.

DL: Wash- ATL would appear to get the nob by just playing with more lineman but its a wash when it comes down to it. 6.5 sacks fro Raji, 7 for Jenkins in 11 games. Meanwhile ATL has Abe with 13 sacks but no one else on the Dline has more than 4.

LB: Wash- Like the previous GB has more to work with but it evens out on average talent.

DB: GB- Moore has been good but he cancels with Collins. Decoud cancels with Peprah. Williams cancels with Robinson. Woodson gets edge over Grimes by a tad. If you look at nickel CBs I would take GB on the edge because they play nickel D about 85% of the time.

ST: ATL- NO return game all year for the Packers. Bryant has been more consistent that Crosby. Ill say wash in punting game

If Cullen Jenkins plays the DL is probably a wash. He's really good and he and Raji have combined for 14 sacks which is pretty rare for a DE/NT in a 3/4 scheme. BJ Raji is already one of the top 3 NTs in the league. If Jenkins is out again though it is a problem.

While I do have my problems with McCarthy at times when talking about coaching you also have to consider that Dom Capers is one of the top 3 or 4 defensive coordinators in the history of the league. He has been unbelievable. He's a horrible head coach but as a d coordinator there is no one better.

Rodgers has done more than Ryan with less talent and less time? What the heck was 2008? Three straight winning seasons? Tied Marino for wins? You may think Rodgers is better but that reasoning does not hold water.

And we cut Peprah... decoud>peprah. Even Packer fans would give us the edge on safeties ... With Coleman in the wings. CBs slight edge to Greenbay.

Also ... I would argue that the Falcons have more to work with on DL and LB ... Both Jerry and Weatherspoon (first rounders) have struggled with injuries but our depth at both positions has saved us. And why no mention of Babs ... One of the best at his position...

QB-Wash

RB-Atl

WR-GB

TE-Atl

OL-Atl

DL-Wash

LB-Wash

Safeties-Atl

DBs-Hoesntly its a wash, Dunta and Woodson are about neck and neck, just that Dunta is more of a tradiotnal shutdown where as Woodson is a Playmaker type of shutdown. Williams and Grimes are a Wash, Nickelback slightly goes to GB, but after that we have more depth.

ST-Atl, we have a really good returner in Weems and if he goes down we have another proven one in HD. Bryant has been more consistent than Crosby
